PS3 WWE13 Is now moddable

Finally got round to installing WWE13 on my PS3 and have finally got it working by bypassing the 'data corruption error' and also fixed the sound since people could not get thE sound working either...

Guide Below with Corrupted data fix and sound fix

Remember that if your doing this on the US version your game ID will begin with BLUS and not BLES.

**PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THIS WILL ONLY WORK ON A PS3 RUNNING CFW, IT WILL NOT WORK ON A RETAIL PS3***

1. Install WWE13 with Multiman as you would normally.

2. Once installed press the SQUARE button on the PS3, this will bring up a series of options, to the bottom of the left hand side of the screen select ‘INTERNAL’ and ‘BDMIRROR’ this will fix the sound issue.

3. Press start and launch the game.

4. Once on the XMB go to the /app_home/PS3_GAME/ and launch WWE13

5. Let the Game Data install, once installed and it is confirmed working exit the game and launch multiman again

6. Once back into Multiman browse to File Manager/ mmOS and select it

7. Once your in the mmOS click on PS3 Root and then go to dev_hdd0\game\BLES01699\\USRDIR\

8. You will see the PAC folder and another small file called F.dat you need to delete F.dat as this is the file that is causing the data corruption, for some reason THQ thought to put in another file that acts like an arc file for the installed data, so anything that you mod will not work and will result in the corrupted data error.

9. Once deleted launch the game again to confirm that it is working, once working start modding.

POINTS TO NOTE

1. All PS3 CH pacs work fine

2. I can't get ANY arenas to load when I have modded them no matter what I try....So I am still working on that and hope to have a solution soon.

the rock (ch100.pac) not work use this method , I tried now ..... always says corrupted data.

I replaced the. pac file in all folder and updated the file .arc ......I also removed f.dat but never work only this pac

Remove the CH from the ch100 pac so it reads 100, place this in the folder \\dev_hdd0\games\WWE13\USRDIR\PAC.

Now update your H files in \\dev_hdd0\games\WWE13\USRDIR\PAC.to read 100 and not ch100

Then update the DEF files to 100 and not ch100

Make sure you have also updated the arcs..

It's only superior because of Brienj's programming talents and the hours of work he put into giving you guys the most straightforward and easiest ways to mod, The PS3 has nobody of that nature...sure I know a little but I'm no programmer

Do a fresh install of the game data, backup any DLC also... I know it works as I have done numerous tests...

done this test, but it continues to give me the error data corrupted , why problem is only ch100 and cmpunk? my tripleh h (ch358) work perfectly

finally all ch.pac working for me .......thanks WWFanatic , the solution is reinstalling the fresh copy game and then put the mod ch.pac

Wow, that sure is a lot of work to use mods. It's nice just putting the files on the HD and playing, have fun modding on PS3 though.

Well, I was reading the instructions and was waiting for him to tell you to light a candle and pray to the God of Gaming Consoles while dancing around with a virgin chicken that was bleeding.

LOL, I did actually order a couple of chickens but forgot the candles... To be honest iinstalling the game on the PS3 is pretty straightforward. Load with Multiman and your done. The only thing I did was figure out the file corruption. I'm currently learning more PS3 Dev stuff so I can make this process less of a chore... It's nice feeling though when people have been struggling to get this working for about 3 months and I do it in less than 4hrs
