You´ll need to decompress it. Use Xbedecompress. You can find it at xentax.

Hey MODS, piracy talk is allowed here?

But anyway, if you have the game, you have the fucking files. And if you don't have the files readily accessible from the game, because you have a retail system, then why the hell do you even want them?

Trying to do something on the PS3 with the Xbox 360 pac files. Ok, my Jesus facepalm picture was the perfect choice then ...

BTW, there is no fucking difference between PS3 or Xbox 360 files, except for very, very slight alterations in the models. Getting the Xbox 360 files is not going to do anything you can't already do with the PS3 files.

Plus, asking for the game iso is usually a big, giant, NONO, unless SmackTalks doesn't care about piracy at all, and I really doubt that they don't care about that ...

*sigh* someone else that doesn't know the difference between cussing, and cussing at ...

If you would have just posted why you needed the files in the first place, I could have easily told you there is no difference, and you would just be wasting your time.

It was a response to me so it would count as cussing at me technically I think...... :shifty:

Well, I am like Tourettes Guy and I cuss a lot, but for future reference, really, the only files that are different between the two versions, are the Titantron files, because the Xbox 360 version of the Titantrons uses a proprietary compression scheme only found on the Xbox 360, and I have no idea what compression scheme would be used on the PS3 version. The model files, the textures, just overall game files are nearly identical, with the only differences being slight, very slight differences between them. For example, a model file for the PS3 may have a few less polygons or something, but they are basically the same model.

P.S. - When I say Titantrons, I mean the custom made ones, for your CAWs, that my program makes, not the ones already in the game. The BIK files are still the same format, it's just that the ones on the 360 have slightly higher compression to save space. I just wanted to make what I said to be more clear, before some idiot bugs me about modding/viewing the BIK files on the 360 version, because I said I knew the compression scheme. I meant the Save File Titantrons, and if you want to mod/view the BIK2 files, you just replace it with regular BIK files, and don't bug me ...

When I originally posted this, I said Titantron, because I knew what I meant, but should have said Titantron save files, and I wrongly assumed that people should already know by now that the BIK file Titantrons are the same format, just a different compression, and the compression scheme for them on the Xbox 360 is "not known" at this point. When I talk about game file, I consider that ALL game files include the save files as well, and the containers for PS3 and Xbox 360 save files are different, but the extracted data is basically identical, like the files on the DVD are virtually identical, and the only differences in the extracted data from the saves are the Titantron save files. Even the CAW files, as I proved with my CAW Editor, are basically the same thing, and only took slight alterations of the data to make them work. So to make it clear of what I mean, the extracted data for the Titantron save files uses a COMPLETELY different compression scheme than the PS3 version, that is only available on the Xbox 360, and I am not sure if they could legally use that compression on the PS3, as it is patented by Microsoft, and I do not know if Microsoft would allow code to be written on the PS3 for it, or if the code could even be ported to the PS3.

Thanks for educating me on this Mr.J I guess its back to the drawing board for us now :smack:

As most people have already pointed out every year THQ release a svr/wwe game the files between both systems are the same apart from a few minor changes which are barley noticble. Granted this year the 360 pacs need to be decompressed to use in Xpacker I found this out with a little research and needed to prove something as someone advised the PS3 pacs are encrypted which they are not....

Now since returning to the modding scene I have been bombarded with requests to try and get this game to work on the PS3... and not one of those people have done any research or know exactly what to do with the CFW PS3, I've even had people offer me cash to do it for them.. At the end of the day I'm a very busy person as I have a family and they come first, secondly I am modding other games at the present.

All I am going to say is that Mozzer0 found a way to run SVR2011 by creating a self installer PS3 Pkg that installed the eboot into a different directory on the PS3 which got around the game data corruption. Try looking at this :)
