I think I am going back into retirement

I hate to say this, but for my sanity, and out of respect for so many people that have been banned at caws.ws for supporting me through the years, I think it is time for me to retire for good on making public hacks for the WWE games. I thought that possibly people would eventually quit associating with that site of hypocrites, but it seems that some people just don't want to do it. So it is with a heavy heart, that I am announcing my retirement. Sorry it has to be this way, but maybe people should look at themselves and see what they are doing to me, and to the people banned at that site. Just because you may not be banned there, doesn't mean you should be helping ANYONE at that site. I'm so sick and tired of it, and I'd rather be hated by everyone, than to keep being disrespected by people.

It's not so much the people at caws.ws that I hate, that is the problem, it's people I thought were friends, that continue to go there, post there, help people there, even though the mods there did the things to me, and to other people. theredrooster was banned for associating with me, XHPToughGirl was banned for associating with me, and many others. I thought we were all friends, but I see that I am just someone that is good to use for what you can get out them. So I'm done. Sorry.

There is no winning or losing. How am I losing? By retiring, does it keep me from hacking my own game? Nope, it just keeps them and the people who want to continue to betray me without any tools, and they will have to make them on their own. Good luck to them. You better hope someone else can take my place. And if someone can, good for them. They can take all the "glory" or whatever. I don't need any glory for what I do, just respect.

I know I mentioned the stuff about caws.ws, but that was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I have been unhappy for awhile now. Hacking has turned into a job for me. I felt like I had to live up to the expectations of an employer. Every time I go public with my hacking, it always ruins it for me. It is no longer fun. I want to make it fun again, and the stuff with caws.ws was the catalyst to help me make my decision quicker. I hate hurting anyone by this decision, but in reality, I am not hurting anyone, because nobody should be relying on me for everything. People should be figuring things out on their own. People should get together and figure it out if needed. The point is, if I was never around, would this mean that there would be no hacking done to these games. I know I'm not the only guy that can hack, there are many, many, many people that can hack and mod, unfortunately, the majority of people who do, do so to cheat. That's why I like XeNTaX so much, because it was started by like minded people that ENJOY hacking and modding. That's why we do it. It's fun and rewarding. I know there are a few people like that here too, and I think they can understand what I'm saying. I want hacking to be fun again. Right now, it isn't. Right now, I have to go back to doing it alone. I'm sorry for ever promising anything, and I am never going to post about my hacks any more. Maybe, some time in the future, if I make something, and I feel like sharing it, I may, but I will never, ever talk about anything I do, until I decide to release it. As of now though, just consider me officially retired, but just like The Rock, I might come back for a brief time, or release something in the future, but it will come out of nowhere, and I may leave again as quickly as I post it. So, I will probably continue to post, but not so much in the hacking sections, other than to tell people good job or whatever, if they make something really nice.

For what It's worth, as a caw maker I find that I get much more feedback, suggestions and support over on caws.ws.

My topics get twice as many productive comments over there and I personally get more helpful pms there compared to here.

Having said that last year I spent most of my time over at the xhp website and the support I found there as a creator getting to grips with Brienj's tool was.incredible. I was ready to post exclusively there for this game.

As you can see from my avatar I happily represent xhp and I use that same image over on caws.ws. I understand that there was some degree of falling out over there but at the same time I'm not going to go around poking my nose into other people's beefs.

Brien, I really hope that me posting on that site hasn't had anything to do with your above decision, as you know how grateful I am for your work for the cawmunity and for me personally. For what its worth I'll be sending you the cas. files you wanted when I get a chance with my computer.

Sucks to hear, dude. Though it really sucks that you let what other people do have that kind of impact on yourself. There are always going to be shitty people out there doing shitty things. You can't change that. The only thing you can change is how you allow it to effect you and the attitude that you take towards it. Regardless, I'm sorry to hear you feel that way about everything and I respect your decision to do what you're doing. I suppose all I can say is thanks for all that you've done and contributed--especially with anything you've helped me with personally. I can't say I ever would have bothered trying to learn all that I have with this stuff, let alone spend the money on another console, if it wasn't for everything you had done or were in the process of doing. So thank you, and I truly do hope you find fun in all of this again.
