Red Rooster Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I dont see the estimated time frame as a problem, WWE13 with the ability to edit models and import old models will be way better than WWE14 anyway. I still played SVR11 instead of WWE12 because it had the old models added to it. Take as long as you need Brien, if people cant learn to be patient then it's their problem. Good things take time. 1 Quote

So how does a new game sound though? Been seriously considering that route. Release the PAC Archiver, then just work on a new game, with endless possibilities. Instead of making hacks and mods to fit a game, I can just make the game the way I want. I can do it with free stuff out there, as some of the free game engines are pretty powerful, but it could take upwards of a year or so to make it half-way decent, but I guarantee that even in a few months it would blow away ProWrestling X. Red Rooster Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 That sounds fantastic, I can only imagine a wrestling game designed and made by you would be fucking wicked. P.S. You should still make the model exporter Quote

Only times I get much fun with Yukes games after HCTP was with Brienj's mod since 2010, when we could add models from LOW and older SVR games. as much as I want a new game, I think it's better to do these hacks.. a new game will require a lot of time... and motivation. Is it possible to make 3 separate programs? Archiver, DLC maker and Model Exporter. It's just my suggestion, since I think Model Exporter is more for Advanced users. I'm guessing that majority of people waiting for the tool just want to import wrestlers from older games. Maybe that could trim out the waiting time.. Again, this is just a suggestion.. and I understand that you want to do things your way, and I respect that.. Quote
Red Rooster Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 You're such a suck up.... Just kidding! I dont need to suck up to Brien he already loves my ass. I just really appreciate what he does because the combination of having the skills to mod/hack games and being a wrestling fans is rare. He is one of the few people in the world who would even bother to attempt something like this and I think there are far too many people out there who just expect and demand things without having an appreciation of what's involved. I just like to give credit where credit is due. Quote

kidsampson Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Yep, I understand. Where I work, we are around 200-300 to make a game. Sure, a wrestling game would probably demand less people but still... back to reality unfortunately. But I promise, as soon as I win the lottery I make my fucking wrestling game! And by the way, The commodore 64 was my first machine and my first love, that was a great time to be around;) Seems like the making of a team. We've got a programmer in brien and a 3D artist in nsieniski. Add El Buvor to the list and assemble a few more for audio and such and launch yourself a Kickstarter campaign. Quote
