Ok thanks Draven but with all that happen with Brien and his family who knows how long its gonna be before we get the tool ,i would like to be abel to try modding and experience a little ,is it possible that you just let me know how to rebuild the pac file after i extrac and edit the colour.dds ,i try xpacker but everytime i try to inject the colour.dds in the decompressed.pac it say file load properly but then it close saying invalid pac file selected

Sorry but where did you see me complain about him not releasing the tool , you guys are really really going over board with this ,i never said he was wrong for not release it or not working on it or anything like that ,i really i want him to take all the time he needs and i dont care how long i have to wait for it neither , i was at the same place he is last christmas and i know how hard it is to lose someone that you love ,all i ask for was some help on how to do it without his tool thats all.

Anyways Brienj if you read this i hope that you see that there were no bad intention on my part because there really isnt

Brienj (I don't know him personaly) tells people that he has been doing an amazing tool for modding WWE13.

It's great news and I thank him for that like many others do.

So It's normal that people want to use it or want to know when it might be ready.

All they are trying to tell you, is that it will be MUCH, MUCH, MUCH easier, just to wait for the tool. Some pac files are damn near impossible to rebuild manually. I've done enough manual rebuilding of pac files in a hex editor, that I know it's something that is not fun, is very difficult, and takes patience and care. If you want to rebuild a pac file, then you will have to see how pac files are made, and reverse the process. There is no tutorial or guide, AFAIK, that tells you how to do it. I just know from experiences of working with them, but I could never in a million years make a tutorial that would cover everything involved in the creation and building of a pac file. This is why I am making the program, to save you, and many others, the many wasted hours of trying to do it in a hex editor, because there are no tools that will do any of it for you, other than my tool that I am going to be releasing.

As far as the guys that have already been releasing stuff. They either have my tool, or use X-Packer. I said before that there is no tool to rebuild pac files, but actually just remembered that X-Packer can rebuild them. So get X-Packer if you don't want to wait for my program. However, his program can't open some pac files, and mainly only works for wrestler pac files. Its how what you wrote came across, and that most of us are sick to the teeth of answering the same question if you had searched here you would of found it all..

About having to decompress the pac file first then edit the files you like using xpacker..

You have to have the xbox sdx on your pc as the decompression tool is in that..

Mipmaps are 4 for normal and color just dx1 and dx5

Merci ça va, donc tu veux commencer à parler en Français ? D'accord, allons-y, ça va être marrant ! :)2 It's kinda possible to rebuild PAC files without brienj software, just had to edit arc files and hex edit the PAC files that I wanted to edit. And of course you need to xdecompress thoses before because the 40 years old man said so.
