MarvstaX Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) So we all know that Take Two own/works with Rockstar (yeah I dunno the full details but meh).. So when they Develop WWE 2K14 or even 2K15, should they use Rockstar to help make the game? Think about it, Rockstar could make a world in the style of a GTA Game, however instead of going around Killing and Stealing etc etc... The "City" or preferably "Globe" would consist of Indy Circuits/FCW/NXT/WWE Brandings and then through a Career or Story mode, you could either start out as a current WWE Superstar and work on Smackdown/Raw however you could also choose to travel elsewhere and do a guest appearance on an Indy show eg, ROH. Doing so would help your popularity (if a Face) or if you went onto an Indy circuit and bashed on their stars etc you'd gain heat (if a Heel). This could also be done to help transition a Face/Heel turn of your character. Also you could do this to be a "Mentor" of sorts to help a person from an Indy circuit to make it into WWE. Alternatively, you could start as either a CAW or current Superstar and start out on the Indy scene and make your way up into WWE. You would start out in one Indy promotio such as ROH and spend time working your way up the promotion and eventually get contracts to other Indy areas/events with WWE Reps/Superstars etc. This would not be a simple "play for 6 months game time and make it into the WWE" sorta thing, it would take multiple years before getting close to a contract (though maybe being called up to be in a squash match and have things in those matches that you have to do such as "Be hit with 2 finishers before being pinned" etc. The more you do those, the more chance you have of being asked to move up. Once you got a WWE contract though you would work your way up to becoming the WWE Champion etc and then go on till you retire or something. In each of those modes you would also do things like Radio Interviews/Press Releases/Signings/Make A Wish etc etc, all of which would effect your Popularity/Heat/Rivalries/Position on the card (Jobber/Lower-Mid/Mid/Mid-Upper/Upper/Main Event Stayer eg cena lol). Another idea could be that you could start your own Indy Promotion which you would run (Sorta like the old GM Mode) and your goal would be to get a contract with WWE to become a partner and part of their developmental team. As the Owner/GM of the Indy Promotion you would travel around Scouting talent from other Indy promotions, them coming to your promotion, you having talent tryouts and also by just asking people on the streets if they would like to be trained etc. As your promotion grew you would be able to make upgrades to your venue such as bathrooms/eating areas/seating capacity and even building upgrade or moving. In both situations you would also have to get to your shows destination on time in order to either be on the card (Superstar) or to have your show actually run (Indy Promotion) if your late, your popularity/attendance goes down etc which effects your over all stats/ability to continue. You would make money in these forms by Contract (if a superstar), challenges (Superstar or Indy Promotion), Attendance to your show (Indy Promotion). These would allow for your upgrades of your Indy Promotion and also Clothes/Training for a Superstar, which would include learning moves that they shouldn't know (Eg having a guy like Batista doing a Shooting Star Press like Brock Lesnar does.. It shouldn't be done due to their size) but by training them to do so, they get better and better at it (the less training they have/stop training in it, the more likely they are to fail it)... Personally I think this is the next level of WWE Gaming experience, having a more full world style (kinda like we had back in SYM though more expansive) which would allow a more in depth feel of the day to day interactions of a superstar and quite likely being the most realistic thing we could have. Almost forget, I do realize that this could be highly unlikely to happen any time soon due to if they did use places like ROH/NJPW/NCAA/AWA etc etc they would need to get them to agree to it + get some if not all of their Superstars/Divas into the game which would take time. The only way I could see it happening is if they maybe get 1 Real Indy Promotion, ROH, and use a handful of their guys in the game then fill the rest with Generic people and do the same for the other Indy Promotions. Alex™ Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 There will be no WWE'14 or WWE2K14 if Take Two/2K/Rockstar not hire Yuke's to work for the next WWE Game then there will be no WWE'14/WWE2K14 there will just be WWE2K15 or WWE2K16. Quote

best in the world Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 At least this guy is thinking outside the box. GTA always had a lot of great roaming ability, which would be great for WWE games and their season/career mode. It'd also be interesting to see what Rockstar could do with move animations, although I'd rather wait and see what 2K is capable of first. That is, if we ever see anything at all. Quote
the King Lives Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Sorry but no... I don't want anything from gta coming anywhere near wwegames. I like gta games but roaming should only be 20% of the game. It is not a fps or a rpg game it's a wrestling game Quote
