My 3DS Max Import Plugin for YUKES Models

Brienj, there isn´t limit of DLC superstars that we can add when you release your tools?

You can already get the models from the game and into 3DS Max or other modeling programs. They are just Unreal models, and there has been a program out for a long time that lets you get the models. If you think the models have to be a Yukes model to be converted to WWE13 format, you aren't quite understanding what you will be able to do in the near future. All that needs to be done, is get the model into 3DS Max and then exported with my plugin that I will be making, and then my program will take the exported information and make a working WWE13 model.

I apparently wasn't understanding the scope of your tool either. I too thought it was limited to Yukes models, but this is much, much more interesting to me now! Big accomplishment! I know you've been saying for years now that if someone would code a model exporter that this would be possible, so I'm glad you finally took on the task yourself. Great job!

Booker T TNA Impact model for WWE 13 model.

I almost always prefer the 2007 models to any of the newer models. They could use some touching up but they capture the likeness of the characters much better. And the Booker T models from 12 and 13 are just a travesty in comparison. I'm sure it helps them make them quicker with the cartoony art direction they've chosen for the coloring and texture, but for a game touting it's focus on realism, you think it would have taken an approach more akin to what the TNA game accomplished. And, hands down, I do think that Booker T TNA model IS the holy grail as far as he's concerned.

But for all wrestling games, I think the holy grail of models is All Star Pro Wrestling 3. Now that's an authentic Vader - go check it out. (I just somehow wish we could also get some of the legends from Wrestle Kingdom 2 on PS2: they had Dick Murdoch, Terry Gordy, Steve Williams, Abdullah the Butcher, Terry Funk, Dory Funk Jr., and Stan Hansen, which were some pretty good models to boot.

Throw in the Legends of Wrestlemania game and you have a solid Legends roster. And although it might not be possible, I wish someone could do something with all those models from the Legends of Wrestling Series (maybe export and make them high-res textured). They had EVERYONE in those games.

Can't wait for the tools to come out :)

All jokes aside, that TNA game had some incredible models. I'm in awe at how identical some of their faces look

Yeah, I can't wait either, although from reading a lot of posts lately, it's going to do my head in, when people start importing these low-poly crap models into the game. If it's not a Xbox 360 model or even a PS3 model at least, it's going to be crap compared to anything already in the game. Old PC games or PS2 models are going to be low-poly pieces of crap, and you'd be better off creating a new one from scratch, if that's the case. Hell, even the Xbox 360 Wrestle Kingdom models are kind of low-poly in places, and will have to be enhanced some before they are imported into the newer game, as they used a mirroring trick in Wrestle Kingdom to make the whole model look ok, whereas it's not used in the newer games, other than in the arenas. And it was most definitely used in all PS2 models, and I don't know 100% for sure, but no doubt was close to the case in the old PC games, like RAW for PC, which even if they aren't reversed to fill the whole model, they are so horrible, even a blind man wouldn't use them.

I'm sure people will. There will probably be some M-Dickie models imported eventually too, as well as No Mercy models, because you just need high resolution textures to make the models look good, right?

Let see the bright side of this, we will have some good laugh looking at those crap! :D2
