kidsampson Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) This thread is to generate some ideas and discussion of what could potentially be modded or improved in WWE 13. You don't need to know how to hack, just think of this as a think-tank. Even so, the idea should still seem technically feasible. One simple change may be editing the number of finsihers needed to execute in-game OMG moves. For example, the corner superplex to outside should only require one finisher, not three. Perhaps someone skilled in hacking could make this change to the game files. Another more complicated hack could be the ability to edit in-game AI. I'm not talking of a complete overhaul of the AI but rather the ability to tweak the AI response time. If only the computer controlled opponents were more decisive and quicker to execute commands and attacks, they would also be more competitive. What are your ideas? KREATIV Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 1. Universe Mode - Possibility to play with Alt Attires 2. CAA Mode - Stage logos dont dissapears during entrances 3. Adding Wrestlers from past Games as dlc Quote
kidsampson Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 I've read brienj is making progress on #3. The first also seems possible if only there was a way for us to choose an attire to be the default selection. One more simple fix I saw today: remove the kick-out animation at the end of the Tombstone pin (after a successful 3 count). Quote

I personally wish there wasn't an OMG moment on the turnbuckle. It was irritating one tag match I played, and I gave my team infinite finishers, and when I threw the opponent in the corner, I was all ready to press Y and perform our tag team finisher, and ... that fucking OMG moment icon showed up and I wanted to kill this fucking game. I hate the OMG moments, grrrrrrrrrrr 1. Universe Mode - Possibility to play with Alt Attires 2. CAA Mode - Stage logos dont dissapears during entrances 3. Adding Wrestlers from past Games as dlc Wasn't number 2 already fixed in the patch? Quote

DRAVEN Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 As above get rid of the OMG crap. #1, i dont know.. #2, why would you want CAA when brienj has had DLC arean's in the works before #3, brienj is working on this and more.. Anyone remember the remodeled ultimate warrior to goldberg.. Quote
Judders Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Wasn't number 2 already fixed in the patch? No. THQ even went as far as saying that it was meant to be like that. Quote
Mathayus Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 i don´t know nothing about number 2. But I bug that I hate is when I go to play with Del Rio and there is Ricardo introducing him and then, don´t sounds anything. The Ricardo´s voice sounds nothing like the real one and you can´t understand nothing when he is speaking. Another bug is when you go to play for a title and in the presentation the voice don´t sounds. Then the entrance don´t advance and you need get it out to start the match. One good thing to add to the game will be; Title Vs. Title. Since in this year you only can fight for one title. I don´t understand these people from THQ, when in past games you can put various titles on one match. Quote

Kaizoku Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Dunno if this is possible or mentioned elsewhere but I would love to see modded titles so you could actually have a TNA, ROH or any other championship Quote

When I release my export plugin and the interface with my program, then you will be able to start doing actual model edits. But here are some things that will definitely be added to the program. The ability to edit vertices (same number at first), edit vertex colors, and edit the UVs. In the future I hope to add the ability to actually change the number of vertices and faces, the weights, the UVs, the vertex colors, and the materials, and possibly even more. But these should be possible, from the testing I've done. Also, modifying older models to the newer style should be possible as a result of this. Edited January 29, 2013 by brienj Quote
dapunisher Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 How do I do it right now? Like before you release the plugin for the program? Is there any other program I can use? Sorry not trying to annoy you but I just want to keep up with what they have on TV Quote

Here is just an example of how easy modding will become when my program/plugin is release, and why you should just wait, to save you from doing extra work. http://smacktalks.org/forums/index.php/topic/40235-my-3ds-max-import-plugin-for-yukes-models/ Quote

I will eventually add the ability to create DLC files, or at least create some on my own to share. I've actually learned a few things that I wasn't doing properly back in SvR2011 when making DLC, and the DLC that I make is going to be a lot better from here on out. I've actually learned a few things that I wasn't doing properly back in SvR2011 when making DLC, and the DLC that I make is going to be a lot better from here on out. Definitely great to hear. Especially considering how today I was looking to add an additional attire to Gangrel, but realized that none of the DLC pac slots are listed under the COS line in the misc.pac. With creating DLC, would it be possible to tie commentary/ring announcer lines to them? Maybe even assign a winning animation? Quote
