Mr_Black Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 First of all, I would like to state that I have no interest in creating glitch finishers or freeze finishers but to make moves that are actually good such as a Trouble In Paradise for Kofi without a gut kick or a TKO that end with an RKO rather than the regular swinging cutter so how might I go about this? Also, what is required? (System wise) Quote
Mathayus Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 At this moment there is nothing to do this. I only would like to use moves from older games. Quote

Don't recall any gut kick when used as a running Finisher, and you can do running Finishers from pretty much anywhere. Quote

There actually is not...THQ, like usual, saw it fit to keep an outdated move but update moves that didn't need updating in the first place. Anyway, I just thought I'd ask since I stumbled across two hacked created specials where two superkicks were used and there was a superkick/STO combo so I just figured if there was a way to hack special moves, I could create certain moves in Create A Special mode that could be easily made since the parts are all there but due to the aforementioned videogame company, we cannot string them together to make moves such as a Tiger Driver 91 or Burning Hammer. Well, you can easily hack CAFs, BUT, and here is the catch, it must have at least TWO parts to it. So I don't know what you would add to the first part before you had the TIP kick ... I actually found a way around that if you put TIP first then another special then save it and delete the second move, it will leave just the first move in the first spot. I assume it works on quite a few moves that could be just done without a set-up to be part of the completed move. As soon as I can, I'll put up videos of these CAFs to illustrate my point further. With only one move, they do ZERO damage, just so you know. Quote

Rozay Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 What I want is, I believe, pretty simple, so I see no need of starting another topic. I want to know how can I edit created finishers, or if there's any program yet that does it, and the other things that I want to put a move as a finisher that I can't do without modding (namely a Sambo Suplex as a finisher on my Hiroshi Hase caw). Can anyone steer me on the right direction with this one? Quote

Can anyone steer me on the right direction with this one? Hacker-T put that in his editor I think. The editor is at 360 Haven, and his tool is like my tool now, and you have to log-in to 360 Haven to use it I believe. I haven't used his editor, so I can't say anything about it, other than what I've read in his thread. He's finally thanked me for giving him all the entrance values, so I'm not too pissed at him any more, although I am disappointed in PUR3 RAF3X giving all his info to somebody that's doesn't know how to program correctly, because from what he posts, I can tell he isn't programming the correct way, and is using like fixed offsets for everything. So if you want to try his program, good luck to you, and make sure to make a back-up. Quote
Rozay Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Thanks man, but I tried already, and his program is not very good. It has a create-a-finisher editor, but he only has like a handful of moves coded. If I want to create Okada's Rainmaker, like the one you posted at XHP Creations, I can't. And his program doesn't have a finisher editor either, so I can't really put Hase's Sambo Suplex as a finisher. Quote
Mr_Black Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 Damn...If it's not many moves coded and such, I guess the dream of a No Mercy style TKO is dead Quote
Mr_Black Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 What does the No Mercy TKO look like? It's a TKO that ends in a stunner. For WWE 13, it'd be something like... Samoan Drop Clutch 01 Swing Shoulder Cutter Drop Stunner 02 (Flipped) Quote

Samoan Drop Clutch 01 Swing Shoulder Cutter Drop Stunner 02 (Flipped) Pretty sure I've seen this move as a normal move, no CAF required. Yeah, it's called the Hawaiian Smasher. And I just checked, and it's exactly the formula you said, although I am sure you are bitching because the move is reversed, right? Edited January 20, 2013 by brienj Quote

I'm not quite bitching...If that were the case, I'd use more profanity. Quote

You said you wanted it to end in an RKO, and that looks like what you wanted, but I found out what the actual one from No Mercy looks like now. I actually think the one from No Mercy looks a little "fake", and would be hard to do in real life. It would be dangerous and break someone's neck. But to each their own I guess. Quote
