MarvstaX Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Would like to start by saying if this is in the wrong section I apologize and accept deletion/moving of this thread without hesitation. Hey guys, MarvstaX here, been looking at CAW's and other creations since SVR '10 on here but only recently have come to the Forums. I've had WWE 13 for a while now and done everything on the face side of the game, by which I mean, Attitude Era Mode, got all the unlockables, got the DLC, gone through Universe mode a few times, downloaded CAW's, Logo's, Arena's, Stories etc etc. Made a few basic crappy CAWs myself lol. Anyway, I've been watching a few videos on making better CAWs and been playing through a couple of Downloaded Stories (WWS, WWEA and a few other random dodgy things) just to get an idea on what others do with them. I've been doing this as I've been contemplating creating my own Show and possibly uploading it to CC. The only issue I have right now is space for the CAWs to use in said Story. This is due to wanting to use all original CAWs so no Current/Former WWE/TNA/WWF/NJPW/AWA etc Talent. I am aiming to have about 15 - 20 CAWs to start with, eventually moving up to about 25 - 30 IF i stick with it and it is popular enough. Though I already have 37 slots used out of the 50 available. This leaves me with only 13 slots. Now I've read around and seen people saying how they save CAWs to a USB/HDD to be able to have more than the 50 however my question is... How? How do I save them to a USB/HDD, is it as simple as plugging one in and moving the data or what? Also, textures... I've seen a number of them around and have been interested in using them but again, how? Most are mediafire links and so do I download them to my Laptop, transfer to USB then put onto my console or what? Don't get me wrong I have read the posts over multiple times however I must be missing something or not quite understanding things, so if someone could explain that to me that'd be awesome. Finally, general advice on a show. Would it be worth it? Should it be done weekly, fortnightly, monthly? Types of titles/amount (Promotion Championship, Women's, Cruiserweight, Blood (Hardcore type belt but contested in First Blood Matches only), Heavyweight, Technical (Submission Only), other ideas welcome/name types). Ohh and before I forget, would anyone be willing to have their creations used if I made this show, full accreditation given of course, Anyway thanks in advance to anyone who replies and also to all who actually take the time to read this. Again, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Take care, MarvstaX Quote
MarvstaX Posted January 18, 2013 Author Posted January 18, 2013 Am thinking on making the show a Youtube show instead of a CC upload show. Only thing with that though I don't have program to record videos straight from my PS3.. Anybody know what I need in order to be able to do that? Quote
Smacktalks Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Try watching this for the details on using a USB device on the 360, although i'm not sur eif it's possible to use a USB save on the PS3 i've never tried it. If you do use a USB don't move individual files or it'll corrupt your original save on your hard drive. Your best off starting a fresh save by downloading the caws to the USB from CC. As for recording video try checking out the Elgato Game Capture HD. Quote
Judders Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Wow, that HD capture thing is expensive! Quote

Will try it first on my WWE 12 game then my WWE 13 game though just to keep in line with the videos game. I'll let you know how it goes. Also thanks for the Program link, will check it out! http://www.bestbuy.c...tegories&ks=960 This is what I am using and well worth the price, comes with Pinnacle Studio 14 for editing software very to use interface to get used to. Spyder78 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 http://www.fraps.com/faq.php There's this you can DL, not sure how long free trial lasts but it's $37 for the whole thing. I never used it so I can't comment on how well it is and what not. Something to keep in mind thou Quote

MarvstaX Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 Well Smacktalks, I tried a few hours ago to do what was shown in that Video you posted however it didn't seem to work at all. I tried having my Ex-HDD and then a USB plugged into my PS3, however I never had an option to create a save file on either. I'm thinking though I may have missed a step or something though (not having any files on the HDD/USB for the game etc) already on the usb device though I'm not sure if that mattered. I also am not subscribed to Playstation +, could that have something to do with it also? The only way I found that I could have the extra slots was to make another Profile on my console however I don't exactly feel much like going through the game again or repurchasing the DLC lol. Quote
Smacktalks Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I'm not sure how you use USB saves on the PS3, it might just be copying everything to it to create a backup instead of being able to run a separate save on it. I know it's possible to use a USB in some way as it's how people are adding textures to the PS3 this year, but I cant really advise on it as i've not tried using a USB save for the PS3. Quote
Judders Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 The simplest of ways on the PS3 would just to create a new profile. You say you've got all the DLC, so you can then go into the game on the new profile and go to options and unlock everything. You'll start fresh with all 50 CAW and Arena slots. As far as backing up the save, you must go through the save unlock procedure pinned near the top to be able to do it. Problem you'd have is once you go into CAW editor and save anything, it will lock the save back up. So a new profile is your best bet. Quote
Smacktalks Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Would he need another Online Axxess code for the second profile to download CAWs, etc.? Quote
Judders Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 No. On PS3, as long as one of the accounts has online axxess installed, it works on all other accounts. I've got three accounts and all used the same axxess. To go online with each account, you need a seperate PSN account as for some reason the same account can't be used across other profiles. Doesn't effect the axxess though. Quote
MarvstaX Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 Thanks for the info Judders. I have tried the Save unlock procedure but for some reason it just refuses to work when I get to the stage of using the ResignUS or ReisgnEU and just refuses to work (Keep coming up with an error bout not having something which I have downloaded... I mentioned it on the actual thread). So I've kinda just given up on that, I was just gonna use it to inject Caws if I could etc but I might just have to resolve to Downloading 1 Caw every 5 hours Lol. Also I didn't know the Axxess works over multiple profiles, that's really good to know so thanks for informing me of that... That really helps me a lot cause I didn't exactly want to have to repurchase it all, so again thank you for that info. I'm most likely gonna use the second profiles save as my CAW account where I make my show etc... Yay for now having to make about 30 CAWs -_- Quote
