tokidoim
I was juicing up my newest CAW ( w/ the gore and diving elbow drop 2 as prominent moves ) and found something pretty awesome. Just to keep all the moves in the same theme, I decided to give him Diving Elbow Drop 2 as a rebound attack. The sonofabitch will fly all the way across the ring! I knocked down my opponent right next to the ropes, went to the other side of the ring and did the rebound move...ZOOM! All the way across the ring, connected, and got a rope break during the count! There IS a limit, I couldn't quite reach him going corner to corner, but damn...he goes way farther than humanly possible. This would probably apply to most aerial moves used as rebound moves. Check it out! nosig Edited January 18, 2004 by tokidoim
Supa #2
Woah..thats awesome. You should try with the front dropkick and see if it does the coast to coast move. Or try setting up a table in the corner with ur oppenent on it then do the rebound attack.......Drools.......
Maximicus
WOW, what about kane diving clothesline (#2) or RVDs Diving side kick. Molly go round? Dance missile drop kick (silly).
Zxero
When you use these for re-bounds, do they like hop up on the top rope or something?
talksick
i am also interested in this ^^
tokidoim
No, they perform the move from the mat level. You can usually only effectively use the "opponent down" moves. Opponent Standing moves like the Molly go Round usually won't hit right because you don't get high enough, unless you want to use the diving shoulderblock and slice through several opponents legs...but then you usually don't even knock them down. I suppose you could also use them as regular striking moves. I'm not sure if all the aerial moves will home in on the opponent like the diving elbow drop 2. nosig
Zxero
Missle Dropkick works really good, the guy literaly flys accross the ring. If you have your opponet in a table set up in the TB, you can go to the other side and do it and it will go all the way to the table and break them through it. Maximicus
What if you put 'em as standing or running strikes (down X for example) using something like diving clothesline 2 or RVD diving kick (any top rope move that jumps high)? tokidoim
Sure, you could put 'em as standing/running strikes. They wouldn't look good as running strikes, but they'd work the same. nosig
TheRob
Check it out, I did this in Shut Your Mouth, but I haven't yet in Here Comes The Pain. But make one of your CAW's ground attacks the Shooting Star Press 2 (Kidman version). It looks awesome, and surprisingly has little flaw with it's appearance. I doubt I was first person to do it, but I'm just saying it just in case a few people didn't think about it.
tokidoim
My favorite's been the Five* for my Sumo Wrestler CAW. I made a taunt animation so he gets in the sumo squat position before I do the move, so it looks great. nosig

talksick
what will and areial move do when put in the place to a jump down over move??
Maximicus
Can you make ground attacks areal? For example, Make SCSA do a ground elbow drop from the top rope. He wouldn't go as far, but would it work?
tokidoim
I'm sure that would work well for some moves. The player gravity would probably drop them down to mat level once they get past the tb polygons. You'd just hafta get the opponent close enough to the tb to hit 'em. Some of those jumping elbow drops might actually look pretty cool. nosig
