'Save couldn't be loaded correctly'

Recommended Posts

I switched from one USB device to another, transferring the save from my original USB to the Xbox, then to the new USB. Transferring to the hard drive deleted all the changes I'd made in the CAW Editor. Now, trying to load from the USB just gives a 'couldn't load' error.

Is there any way I can fix this?

Change it to the right IDs, maybe because you changed it to too much different drives.

So your Device IDs. Is mess up now.

Change the Device IDs to the right Device IDs that it's in.

Example:

It's currently in a USB (Let's call it USB 1)

Now take a save file of any game, copy the Device IDs of it and paste it to your WWE'13 Save Game Device IDs. Then import it back to your USB 1

How do I do this?

Man ,really if you don't know how to do these then you should stop. And do more research about these. That's the basic step and you don't even know how to do it. I'm just suggesting you, it's all up to you.

Everyone has to start somewhere. You knew absolutely nothing about this sort of thing once, too.

Yes. But i learned it fast (believe it or not i don't care).

That's all well and good, but you have to have something to learn from. This idea that if you don't already know something, it's best to just give up is completely absurd. I've been doing this for all of three days now; expecting me to know everything is silly.

Ask google this: Modio or Horizon, Concept........And you will fine the answer for everything

So this isn't something I should be doing in the CAW Editor itself, either through Load IDs or Save Resigner/Rebuilder? I looked at the latter, but it popped up an error message about only working with saves that have one file, and I've no idea whether that's just talking about SaveData.dat or the lot, in which case most saves would have multiple files for CAWs, etc.

Where do I get that? It's too common a word for Google to be any good, I'm just getting results about the word in general, or XBox prototypes, depending on what keywords I add.

I agree with Alex if you don't know how to do it then just don't. Always look into this stuff before you start doing it.

Yes but i suggest you to use Concept.

You were making sense until you said that. My program will resign his saves just fine, as long as he loads the IDs into the program like you are supposed to do and what it says in the Help file in the program if he would just read it ...

The thing that's throwing me about your program is the "this only works on saves that contain ONE file in them" message. My save includes SaveData, four CAWs, four titantrons...do they not count?

I'm guessing not, and I create a new save on the USB drive (does it have to be WWE 13, or can it be any game?), load the IDs from the SaveData for the new save, then go into the resigner and open up the old SaveData?

It automatically resigns every file you run through it, you don't need to use the separate resigner. I give up.

What's the resigner/rebuilder in the 'Special' menu for, then?

That's the one I use, it works for all files, just make sure to wait for the program to finish even if you think it's frozen.

You must understand that his Device IDs, is currently messing up just because he change the save to too many places but don't have the right Device IDs on the save, so that's why he can load it correctly. And he don't even know what's his current Device IDs.

Do you have the newest version, because it doesn't take very long to resign files anymore? I found a bug that I had on it for years, and it went from taking 5 minutes to resign a 60MB CAW file, to taking just a split-second. Well, unless you resign multiple files at once, but most people don't realize the program supports multi-select.

Nice one :)

It should be fine in the '13 editor, I just haven't resigned anything with it yet, the last one I did was with the '12 editor when I'd resigned my save for a new USB stick, so that would have been before you updated the code.
