Aussie-Kat Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Hey guys, Just seeing how common this problem is and if anybody has a fix for it. Whenever I download a story, including my own, the CAWs show up as Default. I've checked on my bf's console and my stories as well as everyone else's downloads fine with all CAWs intact. Could I have a corrupted save? I've installed all my game data to my HD too, could this be affecting it? Hope someone can give me some advice. Quote
brienj Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Maybe since the CAWs are so big this year, they don't actually download with the story. I don't know how it worked in previous years with CAWs, because I don't really mess with story mode, although I know how the thing is laid out, and I may make a story editor one of these days, at least one that will edit the people in it. Aussie-Kat Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 The thing is though, they work fine on my BF's console. It could have to do with my modded Divas or my matches being edited...I don't know. Quote
brienj Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) The thing is though, they work fine on my BF's console. It could have to do with my modded Divas or my matches being edited...I don't know. I've said it a bunch of times, but you may not have seen any of my posts about it. I recommend that you do NOT make NPCs playable or do ANY gender hacks, as it totally screws the game up, because it is NOT designed for you to do those things. You can do those things from time to time for fun, but I would NEVER do them on your normal save. Obviously, you are one person that is finding out about the problem the hard way, and why I try to warn everyone. However there are a bunch of people that think I don't know what I'm talking about, because the game runs "fine" when doing those things. Eventually, they WILL have problems, especially in things like Universe and Story Mode. This is half of the problem of why people have to use a new save to hack anything with the editors that are out. The game just can't handle these types of hacks, and is NOT built to handle them. Making a new save only temporarily "fixes" the problem. Edited December 13, 2012 by brienj Quote
