paulrudoff Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 Although there are a lot of great hackers here, you've come up with some of the best codes, so I thought I'd address this to you. Within the first few weeks of the game's release, I created a list of codes I'd love to have for the game. I've posted these a couple of months ago as a request over at Trigin's site and a few weeks ago in the request topic here. Since I've not seen any codes created that are similar to what I'm looking for, I'm starting to wonder if any of the code ideas listed below are even possible to make. Please look over the list and let me know individually or as a whole if these are possible or if I should just give up hope. Thanks. -- Remove the blur effect on female CAWs breasts and crotch areas. -- Make in-game females bleed. -- Delete stables from season mode, including the default ones that are sometimes created in a storyline (since Yukes forgot to add this). -- For Royal Rumble, can always choose to play (P1, P2, etc.) except when your chosen character is active. -- For Royal Rumble, participants come in every 30 sec, 1 min, 90 sec, 2 min, etc. -- Play Special Referee with any playable character. If possible, do it so ANY character can be chosen with just the one code and it would work in both 1 and 2 ref matches. The SYM version of this code is character specific and only works in a 1-ref match. It's a shame Yukes/THQ didn't put back all the special ref options that Just Bring It had - choose ANY character and virtually every match type had a special ref option. -- Make the arena sets climbable. -- All matches in season are special (Trigin tried to make a code, but it didn't work). -- Increase the amount of blood. -- Make blood stain the mat. -- Play as Stephanie McMahon in Bra & Panties. -- Skip Copyrights & Logos. -- Skip all pre-PPV videos (those bogus feud recap videos). -- Skip Outro videos and disable the Taunt/Attack/Respect and Rematch/Exit choices. Dacrone Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 steph in bra and panties isnt possible, cuz i just made jazz's identity to steph's and it froze before i could choose the arena....sorry bro, i wanted it to work too, lol :don Quote
Maximicus Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 I think 2 or 3 of them have been made... Quote
tokidoim Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 (edited) Possible means unlikely -- Remove the blur effect on female CAWs breasts and crotch areas. Possible by someone who knows a good deal about programming and mips assembly language ( or is just plain lucky ) . I've even tricked the game into not blurring in the Appearance menu, but never in a match. -- Make in-game females bleed. There are mods that will cause female CAWs to bleed. If each superstar has an individual bleed graphic, it'll be impossible to make Divas bleed. If there's a few different bleed graphics that are assigned to specific wrestlers, it's possible. -- Delete stables from season mode, including the default ones that are sometimes created in a storyline (since Yukes forgot to add this). Stable Mods -- For Royal Rumble, can always choose to play (P1, P2, etc.) except when your chosen character is active. Possible if the mods are found in the P1-P6 sections. Might be possible with the 2-player season code if used before the next wrestler comes out, but that code won't make the change during the match. -- For Royal Rumble, participants come in every 30 sec, 1 min, 90 sec, 2 min, etc. Possible -- Play Special Referee with any playable character. If possible, do it so ANY character can be chosen with just the one code and it would work in both 1 and 2 ref matches. You can force who a player/special ref will be with Pre-match Codes, or you could put the Match status and Side mods onto an activator to make additional refs ( this method will not remove the normal ref from the match, though ) . -- Make the arena sets climbable. I think BigBossman very recently found the value for the climbable SD! arena from SYM to be used with Arena Mods, so all the mechanics are still in the game. Remotely Possible. -- All matches in season are special It's Do-able with the right jokers. -- Increase the amount of blood. Impossible IMO. -- Make blood stain the mat. Possibly if weapon texture/polygon mods and weapon status mods are found, you could make a weapon look like a bloodstain and force it to stay on the mat. It'll probably never happen, though. -- Play as Stephanie McMahon in Bra & Panties. Depends on how models are assembled and if Model Assembly mods are ever found. Quite often, the programmers will make models' heads separate from the bodies. If so, and if the right addys were found ( two big ifs ) , you could just swap heads... -- Skip Copyrights & Logos. Possible, but apparently much better hidden than in SYM -- Skip all pre-PPV videos (those bogus feud recap videos). Must be possible through several methods. -- Skip Outro videos and disable the Taunt/Attack/Respect and Rematch/Exit choices. All possible. nosig Edited January 25, 2004 by tokidoim Quote
paulrudoff Posted February 2, 2004 Author Posted February 2, 2004 -- Delete stables from season mode, including the default ones that are sometimes created in a storyline (since Yukes forgot to add this). Stable Mods Thanks for the reply. Now I know which codes I should still hold out hope for and which ones are pretty much lost causes I looked on the Stable Mods page for a delete code, but didn't find any. Quote
tokidoim Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 Just set the value for the "first letter of name" mod to 00. nosig Quote
thekosmicfool Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 tokidoim Posted on Feb 2 2004, 12:16 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just set the value for the "first letter of name" mod to 00. that didn't seem to work. it just changed the first letter of the stables name to "}". it happened for both an active and inactive season stable. so what went wrong? Supa #2 Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 I think its meant to do that so the game doesnt recognise the stable. I think... Quote
thekosmicfool Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 so then does it let you put a different stable in its place? Quote
tokidoim Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 Yah, you can completely overwrite the entire stable with these codes if you want. nosig Quote
thekosmicfool Posted February 13, 2004 Posted February 13, 2004 thanks, but could you explain further? do you need to actually replace the people in the stable with the codes? or will they eventually get overwritten naturally? like, if you keep adding stables to season, will one of the stables eventually replace the one you want gone? Quote
tokidoim Posted February 13, 2004 Posted February 13, 2004 I would think that once your season stable slots are all full it wouldn't allow you to make more stables. I couldn't say for sure, since I never had that many. You don't need to change the people in the stable. Mostly these codes are for the purpose of deleting those pesky created season mode stables and adding unselectable music. nosig Quote
