Is there a career/story mode?

Besides the attitude era mode, already beat it. Can I pick a wrestler and go through a story mode with them? I cannot seem to find out how. Someone enlighten me. First wwe game Ive played since.... forever.

Yo Slim, you can play through Universe Mode and that will keep throwing up certain storylines, cutscenes, etc. but it's all text based so there's no voice overs like in Attitude Era mode.
