First up, the comments competition. I have to say it was really hard to pick a winner as a lot of the comments were very similar which is my own fault for not really setting a proper task, etc. to judge. However, the following users comments were a bit different and stood out, so firstly, runners up and receiving their choice of a wristband or Ice Cream Shirt DLC (Xbox 360 Only) code are Mohamed Soliman for going one step further and posting a video comment and Tommy Macartney for his catchphrase filled post.

Now for the winner of the copy of WWE '13, Congratulations to Matthew Samuel for his take on the CM Punk promo that he directed at me which made me laugh!

Smack talks i want you to Listen to me and Listen to me closely, I deserve that copy of WWE'13 and you know why because i am the best Gamer in the world. I have proved it from day one since i entered the Gaming market and i have been on top from that day.

But no matter how hard i try i'm not on any youtube channel, Im not on the cover of any Gaming Magazine, Im Barley Mentioned, but the fact of the matter is i should be.

But the fact that you are a Youtube superstar and i'm Not makes me Sick!

But Samcktalks is going to get views despite himself im just a spoke on the wheel the wheel's going to keep turning But Smacktalks is A youtube star who should be a Superstar you know hy he's not a superstar, It's because he surrounds himself with Douche bag yesman like all his fans whose going to tell him everything he want's to hear.

And i would like to think that maybe Youtube would be better after Smack talks is Gone but the fact of the matter is it's going to get taken over by some other guy who quite simply is not Me!

Shitty caw subject anyway. No decent refs to work from, you have to guess at his height and weight, you can just make up attires (which most did), and a shot-in-the-dark move set/entrance situation. Also, don't remember you ever posting that Cory was gonna judge the competition. Not saying it's unfair, just poor judgement, as if I had known, I wouldn't have entered, as Cory and I have had quite a war for a while.

And you're gonna give it to a guy who made a video, that flat out copies someone else?lol Then what was this all for? Why not just have a random name entry and pick them out of a hat?lol

I worked my ass off on my Cory caw, given the available info. And I gotta say, it shows, as mine is more realistic than anyone else's. The others look like they were done in 5 minutes. Also, I worked my ass off for the better part of a year, helping people with the POS WWE 12 is, and put up with all complete BS I had to go through with THQ and Marcus, for jack? I gained a board mod position over at The Wrestling Legends Forum, a GLOBAL Mod position at WWEGaming.com, helped create The CAWmunity College at the WLF (To help aspiring and beginning caw makers get better) and started a petition (200 people signed) to help people who were frustrated with the game and the company to have a voice, that I got banned from caws . ws for? Screw that man.

I caw for fun, and caw because other people enjoy my work, and help others to get better because I care, and like to see them progress. SO it's not like I ever was really expecting anything at all, EVER, from anyone. But for all the hard work I did and all the people I worked so hard to help, and had my reputation ruined to help them, it kinda hurts a bit that I never even factored in.

So, I'll do what the 2nd contest winner did and rip off CM Punk's Pipebomb promo, and say "It's not sour grapes, but that fact that a caw that took less time to make than you spent making a video for is considered better than mine, makes me sick."

Also, what the F$&^ does it take to get a caw featured on the community showcase? I submit caw after caw that people ASK for to be a Community Showcase, yet when I finally get one, it's one I didn't even submit, and one I never would have cause it wasn't finished.

Do I have your attention now? Or do I need to make a video and rip it off further?

Honestly I think There's a few guys that could have easily won this....And I think it's a Joke that the winner was decided by Cory on Twitter when Naturally he's going to ***** over Ps3 guys at every turn because the guy is Pro XBL. Whatever happened to Caw Competitions having Community Voting Like the Caw Competitions did last Yr.... I can't say I blame folks for being Pissed the hell off that a Pipe Bomb promo got ripped and reworded just to get the game like it was. While Speaking of Cas Features I think Stingertap is one of a slew guys on PSN that has been overlooked for not having stuff featured. Old School's entry as well as his could have easily won this in my opinion..... and I guess the real question is why was Cory even the assigned Caw Competition anyway when wasn't the whole Idea of competitions was to be Caws of Wrestlers not of non wrestler subjects

But I think Paul hit it right in the head where Matthew Samuel albeit copied the CM Punk promo, exercised individuality whereas all other entries were five paragraph essays all claiming they were the "biggest fan of the product." He took full advantage of the opportunity presented. I am in no shape and form defending Matthew Samuel and in no way, shape or form affiliated to him. I am basing my opinion on what was posted on the Smack Network Facebook page.

I am fully aware I am going to get flamed with a lengthy essay, but so be it.

I wouldn't say all were but Yeah the Majority of them were written as sob stories about how they're supposedly the Biggest WWE / Wrestling Marks in the world.... and like I said before I do think others here have some good points as well. Anyhow I hope we see some better choices for future competitions for which some of these guys ought to be considered. Also here's a thing I noticed as well. People might actually have a nice caw of stuff but because of their capture device it might get over looked as not being as good as those who have better devices. Prime exp. A guy posting previews with cell phone / web cam vs a guy who has Capture cards

Well all I'm going to say is that in my honest and humble opinion having these caw competitions would be a lot better if all future comps got voted on by actual Community guys via a Poll which is how they were changed in the first place after the earlier Competitions from 12 got picked by Smacktalks and he came under fire for it. It only makes sense to take all future competitions and do Poll voting and let the actual community have a voice and decide the winners. I want to say it was the Cena competition in particular that took the brunt of the heat last yr over how they were run which caused the polls to be implemented then all of a sudden this one was done the old way without any such poll being created. Leaving it open to where one person is making decision rather then Polls is never going to turn out right so why not give them the proper voting amongst Peer to peer poll formats .... That there would prevent any such arguments and such as we've had two separate times already where no such thing was presented and both times had the same backlash from them

What needs to happen is a clean break of sites like this from THQ, no matter what party initiates it. Apparently people can't handle it, and it goes to their head, or THQ brain washes them. Either way, they corrupt every site they infect. Look at caws . ws. They're banning people there left and right, and even the most high profile caw makers. All that's left are noobs, bots and trolls. They fucked over Petchy and TheD, screwed me and Nemphosis because we spoke out about THQ, Stephenson and the game, and completely ban modding talk (Yet they continue to push and promote the site with hacked content/textured and rendered caws) for the whole community, because they're afraid that THQ will leave their site.lol Once they learn THQ could give a shit about their sites and members and management, and that they only use it to quiet the masses when they make a bad game, they'll wise up. I did, and learned from having to deal with Marcus Stephenson.

Pretty much, they let THQ do everything now, right down to judging caw contests. Cory knows who I am, and what my screen names for places are. So that automatically disqualified me from contention. That's screw job one. Second, a person enters with material that's not even theirs, and WINS, that's screw job #2, The fact Cory's biased towards xbox (The fact they even program the games for it, and port it to PS3), and that system houses the winner = screw job #3.

Also, I'd like to see Sunny Dre show me where in my text entry, I A: Had 5 paragraphs and B: Where I stated that I was a huge fan of the franchise, and due to that, it's the only reason I should have won.

It's not about who could enter and win in their sleep, Dre. I've seen your work, terrible. It's about the other 15 entries looking like amateurish, rushed, and cartoony, compared to someone who went for realism, and far surpasses them in quality.

I'm done. Last comp I'm entering, and if I get warned, banned , whatever, I don't care. I feel like not coming back now, and the only reason I did was to correct the situation Dre put me in by twisting my words, and and insinuating meaning that wasn't there. Love how other people are only out to make others look bad.!lol

In fact, there should be more guitarherobonhams on the PS3 instead of the same CAWS listed as "WHAT'S HOT?" I do admit I should have worded my statement from "all" to "most entries."

Additionally, you have a great method that should be up for suggestions which should be directed here.

It's creators such as The Ds, Petchys, and guitarherobonhams which give wresting games validity and makes sites such as Smacktalks thrive.

It's just no matter how much and how many people I help, I never get acknowledgement ANYWHERE or from any one except people I already know, and are my friends. Not sure if system bias or fanboyism, but it's not just me. It's tons of great creators on the PS3 that are constantly overlooked, and under appreciated. Seems that if you don't texture, or throw half done caws online to just get a trophy, you don't exist to anyone. Prime example, you can't even get base forms in SmackTalks caw showcases for textured caws, because of the excuse that "it won't look the same" (How could it not when the morph should be exact to the facial texture?).

You seem to be alright Dre, but when you've run into the likes of Status, Joel and the rest of the mods over at caws (Still keeps editing it when I type caws . ws as one word), that's what happens when you say something they don't like. It's an almost instant warn or ban. Hell, Joel closed a petition topic I made there once, in less than two minutes, with not even so much as one reply to it before he locked it and deleted it. I was banned for saying I wanted Marcus to leave the site there when he himselof asked if the community wanted him to leave or stay after the server backlash ( Wasn't the only one who said no, but the only one banned).

Haha, I guess more blame goes to Cory for picking out Ballard32 who may I add exceptionally talented himself. Personally, it would be quite difficult for me to judge a competition like this equally so as to entering it so my hats off to all parties involved.

I get where you're coming from though. You are disgruntled from the politics for venting out your frustrations and some people may find that offensive because it does not appeal to their sponsors. However, you can rest assured that things are a bit different around these parts. However, every forum has rules to adhere to and all violations are dealt with accordingly.

It's also true that the PS3 creators have been overlooked, however there is a vast amount of talent that is insurmountable on the 360 side in comparison even if it's not textured CAWS. Nevertheless, finally the PS3 side is graced with 64 layers and I'm looking forward to your creations as well as other legitimate creators that have made PS3 creations a respectable commodity.

Your work reminds me a lot of KRadiation in comparison to face detail which barely gives any room to edit the entrance attires. Then again, the 64 layer news should be a breath of fresh air to you and hopefully it encourages more talent to create on the PS3 side as some people greatly oppose textured CAWS because they require no effort.

I think Rev, Sunny and Stingertap all are just a few guys that have stellar stuff on the Ps3 side but I totally agree this is new uncharted waters for us Psn crew with having 64 layers where yrs past we were on the outside looking in on that part of caw making. And I don't buy the yrs of excuses about how Ps3 kept being told it couldn't handle them in past games when truth is if the THQ Head guys were on Sony and not Microsoft we all know the shoe would be on the other foot as they say but agreed all who enter should be awarded for their contributes

Just to clear it up, caws.ws was added to the bad word filter years ago as a means of stopping people hot-linking to their images and using their bandwidth, followed by a spam attack of some members posting constant links to the site.

In regards to the Cory competition I was going to setup a poll for the winner, but as Cory offered to take the time out to pick a winner then he knows more than any of us what he looks like so I was more than happy for him to choose the winner (I also agreed with his decision).

As I don't use caws.ws, TLF, etc. then I'm unaware of anything that may have gone on there which might put people at a disadvantage if they are overlooked by a certain individual, all I know is what I've seen people post here or in-game.

As for the second competition it was impossible to allow for voting due to the amount of people entering which was something that I did to give everyone a chance regardless of how good they were at making caws. In hindsight it wasn't the best thought out competition as 95% of the comments spoke of how big a fan people are, how bad a year they've had, etc. which are all things I cant verify and made it impossible to single out one user.

The reason I chose the ones I did was because they did something different in order to stand out from the rest. I understand all the winner did was rip the CM Punk promo, but if you follow the videos I put up on YouTube you'll know that I posted a video of myself cutting that same promo for a THQ event, so the winner choosing to use the same promo and direct to myself made me laugh and stood out from the rest.

At the end of the day if your unhappy about the way in which the competitions were judged then I apologise and your free to blame me and voice your opinions, but keeping everyone that enters a competition happy is impossible, as everyone will have their own opinion on who should win, etc.
