WWE '13: Weekly Community Events?

How would you feel if I ran weekly community events right here on Smacktalks? I used to run them last year for the Gears of War community and they were a success overall. If they prove successful over time I'll see if I can get some prizes on the go.

Basically it's private matches with community matches which are organized on a set day every week. More likely the most popular modes will be those with 6 of more players. If we can get some people willing to host other lobbies we can do it like this -

HOST 1 - 4 Player Gametypes only

HOST 2 - 6 Player Gametype only

HOST 3 - Royal Rumble Only

Switch players out after a few matches to get as many people as possible. If you got any questions, feel free to ask and please vote in the poll

If there's enough people involved and you can keep a track of winners, then setup a match between the people with the most wins I'm sure I could setup some prize to be on the line once a month.

We tried at the start when we worked on GoWNation, it was good but we found another system to much better.

Each week a player is a given 1 ticket for participating, you can earn 4 tickets in a month if you show to each event (1 ticket for each week). A raffle is held at the end of the month which would randomly determine the winner.

It gives players an incentive each week since everyone has a chance of winning, instead of a guy joining in the 3rd week with 0 wins and another guy who joined in the first week with 20 wins.

If you show up each week, you give yourself a better chance of winning at the end of the month

That method sounds fairer, it's a good way to get people to turn up each week and rewards them for doing so.

If there's a PS3 side to things, I definately would. Might even buy a headset and such jsut to communicate with you guys.
