WWE '13 Preview: Championship Editor!

Embedded above you can find a video preview of the new Championship Editor feature in WWE '13, or continue reading for the written transcript.

First of you'll notice that this feature isn't actually named Create-A-Belt and comes with the name Championship Editor and that's specifically what it is, a Championship Editor that allows you to change parts of the in-game belts similar to how you can change the colour of a Superstars attire in Superstar Threads.

The option itself took some finding as it was hidden away in the menus as it's not been a feature that THQ have even mentioned, probably because they didn't want fans to get excited thinking it was a full on Create-a-Belt mode.

So the otpions for this mode give you the ability to customise the colour of certain elements of a belt, with each belt having different parts available to edit, such as the strap and the main faceplace.

In regards to the belts that you can edit, there were 33 designs available, only 10 of which were unlocked to begin with, with 7 of those being real word titles including:

WWE Championship

World Heavyweight Championship

US Championship

Classic Intercontinental Championship

Zack Ryder's Internet Championship

Divas Championship

World Heavyweight Championship

The other 3 titles available were custom designs.

Once you've customised the colouring of your belt you can save it with options for it's formal and short names, set it to be for either Superstars or Divas, whether it's a Single or Tag Team Championship and if it's only for Crusierweights.

Finally, the best bit of information you can set is the ring announcer name, which gives you up to 6 words to select from any of the following call names:

Action

Alliance

All-Star

And

Atlantic

AWA

Classic

Continental

Crusierweight

This means you can string together something along the lines of the "Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship" or the "Total Non-Stop Action World Heavyweight Championship".

It's disappointing that they didn't include "Federation", but I can see why. :(

Yeah... Stupid world wildlife federation lol

Glad to see "Triple Crown" in there. William Regal will finally be a Triple Crown Champion in my universe :p:

They should have included the word "Yes" so I could create the "WWE YES Championship" for Daniel Bryan

Why is World Heavyweight Championship posted twice?

Iw s wondering that too. It's probably a typo. that SHOULD probably be the WWE Tag Team Championship

Also we can make a mock TNA World Title and such. But it'd need to be called the iMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Title
