Smacktalks Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 IGN today released new details on WWE 13's Universe Mode 3.0, Story Designer and online modes which you can read here. First up, IGN reports that WWE Universe now has the option to add shows for any day of the week or even delete existing shows entirely, with each show having having it's own roster, belts, arenas and match up screens, with options to turn off certain types of stories and a new option to reset Universe mode if you go a little crazy and things get out of hand. Also included in Universe Mode 3.0 is a new stat tracking option which now tracks Superstars progress in Universe Mode and keeps a record of their success. Other Universe mode news that was released was that Paul Heyman is the mastermind behind Universe Mode 3.0, with Heyman writing the stories that you'll see unfold this year. Switching to Story Designer and IGN note you'll have the option to craft narratives from one show, all the way to one year, with up to 500 matches and up to 15 Superstars, with 300 new scenes available for the cutscene designer that include branching and decision making options along the way. Finally, in some online news, IGN revealed that we can use Custom Arenas online this year and that there's a new "fair fight" option when playing online so you can get matched with someone else using a similar rated Superstar. The big news however was that they state you can download, edit and then re-upload other peoples creations, something which was previously not available but seen various users on the 360 resign save files to upload other users content. Previously I had posted a concept design on a way in which this option could work, in which the original creators details were still shown and they gained ranking points when someone downloaded their original creation after it had been re-uploaded by another user. It'll be interesting to see if THQ have gone down this route as more details are released, but in the meantime you can check out my original concept design embedded below. <center><iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fl4SufGbbhs?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></center> I'll be uploading full details on Universe mode, Create-A-Superstar, Create-an-Arena, New Match Types, Story Designer and a ton more from tomorrow at 5PM once the embargo covering the release of details from last week's WWE '13 event is lifted, so make sure to look out for those details. Meanwhile, let me know what you think about now being able to re-upload other peoples creations, do you think it's a good idea? or as a creator do you not want people re-uploading your content? Let me know below or vote in our Facebook poll here! Source: IGN Quote
Deleted Member Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) well that sound promising but I agree that they need to put in place a history tag so original creators get their well deserved credits.....It would be nice if they did the same uploads for PT's being downloaded especially in light of all the people currently who took the in game Hart Dynasty logo then erased it's background while keeping the emblem then called it Bret Hart's emblem. The PSN is chopped full of ***** logo like that yet people gave them the full 5 stars and rave like they're great. We need ability to upload them after we fix things but still have ability to ensure the original creators get their just due for original upload Same with Caws.... there's tons that have Kick ass attires but default faces or just awful body morphs which need to be fixed by more experienced creators who have a better eye for that or know how for stuff like detailing a custom brow that might need to be thicker then default options give.... Again your Idea of the tag shown in the D's Taker exp. Is an excellent idea THQ really needs to make possible Edited October 9, 2012 by Damussman Quote
