GrumbleMonkey Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Oh my god! Thank you so much. I know 4th may not seem like a lot to many but thanks so much for considering. How was the Face for you Smack? Quote
Deleted Member Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 ^ very well deserving of a spot indeed and I especially like your paint tool work quite a bit. Quote
Gamevolt Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) I just realised watching the formula video for the winning Angle that it looked so familiar. It's because it's mostly Shock_800's formula from SVR 2011 which can be found here http://caws/forum/to...oys-forms-2011/. I thought it had to be your own formula? Still 3rd place is not bad but I agree that number 2 should have won. Edited September 4, 2012 by Gamevolt Quote

Smacktalks Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 He pointed out that he had based his creation on an Angle from 2011 in the Cawmpetition topic. I had mentioned in the topic that you can use another person's formula as a base, providing you've tweaked it and it's not just the same caw. Being that the morph he used was from 2011 and he created 7 attires to go with it I deemed it to be ok to enter it. I know a lot of people have said they preferred number two, which is why in future competitions I'll be posting the three finalists in a video and then having a vote to decide the winner. That way the winner is decided by multiple people instead of just being based on my opinion. Does that sound like a better / fair way to do it? I know people can manipulate voting but I don't see any other way to do it. Edit: If that is the same Angle formula let me know and I'll update the YouTube video, etc. to include Shock as the creator. Going back to the using another persons formula, going forward would you like to see the rule that if the original person whose formula is being used enters the competition, then anyone using their formula cannot place above them? Deleted Member Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I believe I might have commented the other suggestion thread earlier but I look at the Cawmpetitions like this... We've had 4 thus far and each time out it gets harder and harder for you to narrow down the winners because everyone has stepped up their quality of attires / caws....so If having say a first, 2nd and 3rd place or even 4th as case was here with Kurt where the community here votes then that makes it more balanced and such rather then having had just 1 person with the responsibility of trying to decide winners all the time Quote
Gamevolt Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I think that will be better if you single out 3 or 4 CAW's and then let the community vote on Facebook like they do with the next Cawmpetition. And yes that is Shock_800's formula that was posted Quote
Alex™ Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) Why ? He's got the win ? AKz EffecT is the on true winner ! @Smacktalks: In the rules it already said " - Entries MUST be your own creation." The Only creation of the winner is the hair , the new design on the forehead to cover the hair , the attires ! That's all ! And i know that he said he did some tweak (But i don't think so) ! That's not fair for AKz EffecT ! I know it hard for you to judge the creation ! But hope next time you'll be more fair ! Just saying Edited September 4, 2012 by DancyHercules3 Quote

Smacktalks Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 Guys, this is only the 4th competition, so there was always going to be various issues to face and there's always room for improvement, which based on the changes I mentioned above should make it fairer in future. @Smacktalks: In the rules it already said - Entries MUST be your own creation. This rule is more in regards to the re-uploading of others creations by resigning the .cas files. As I previously mentioned, the formula he used was from SvR 2011, so he has created this from scratch in WWE '12 and created the attires on top of that. And yes that is Shock_800's formula that was posted Cheers Gameovlt, I've just updated the pages to show Shock's credit. Quote
