Sunny Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 In addition to the news posted yesterday announcing UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock's inclusion in the upcoming WWE '13 video game, PWInsider followed up and announced Steve Blackman to be a playable character in it as well. The dual inclusion of both WWF Attitude superstars were initially discussed in the March/April 2012 issue of Fight Night magazine which led to speculation. The last time Steve Blackman was included as a playable character in a WWE related title was eleven years ago in WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It while the last time in which both Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman were both included together was in twelve years ago in WWF SmackDown!. Blackman has teamed up with Shamrock and also was embroiled in a heated feud against him in the summer of 1999 which culminated in a Lion's Den Weapon's match at SummerSlam of that year. Throughout his tenure in the WWE, Steve Blackman held the WWE Hardcore Championship on six different occasions and was known for his martial arts antics and hardcore style match-ups in which he utilized his signature kendo shinai. Smacktalks Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 If this turns out to be true I wonder if we'll get some new match types to go with them based on the matches they had back in the Attitude Era, ie. Lions Den, Iron Circle, etc. Quote
Fozy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 You're crazy if you think that'll happen, paul. Quote
