RyanAJWood Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Hello, I am new to this website because I found out that on caws you cannot speak about hacking. I would like to know how to upload CAW data in my story that I've downloaded from other users on community creations. I know this is possible because I've heard of other people stealing CAW makers work and uploading it for their own. But all I plan to do is use this CAW data in my created story which has taken me weeks to make and then upload it so everyone else can use it. Just as a side note I plan on getting permission from CAW makers to use their work and will not upload it without giving credit. Thank you in advance Quote
Rico.45 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 You can upload them in your story, but your story can't go on community creations. All you can do is use the Caw's formula on a new caw, upload the new one in your story, and you will be free to upload your story on CC. Hope I helped ;)2 Quote
Smacktalks Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 It is possible to resign CAWs on the 360 so they appear as your own, which would then allow you to upload them as part of a created story. To do it you would need to use the WWE12CAWEditor Program by BrienJ, although his website is currently offline so you wont be able to download it until the problem is fixed. Quote

Wow thanks for the reply, I watch your youtube videos all the time haha. And do you know if there's anyway of downloading this program without going through the xbox live hacking portal website? And if not how long do you think it will take to be fixed? Quote

RyanAJWood Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 Please does anyone know where a tutorial is for resigning CAWs? Quote
Smacktalks Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 To Resign CAWs: - Open The Editor - Click Open - Choose the .cas file you want to resign - Click Save and save the file in your 000000001 folder with your other .cas files - Click Save To and choose your SaveData file. Once you've done this you just need to put the 000000001 folder back on your USB. Quote

Because as you know XBOX files do not appear from the normal USB menu. Quote
Smacktalks Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 To put the folder back on your USB: - In USBXTAFGUI_v44.exe, open your USB drive and expand the folders until you see the 00000001 folder. - Right-Click the folder and choose Delete, then drag your edited 00000001 folder from your PC into the window and it'll add it back to the USB. - Once you've done this, go to File > Close Current Drive.
