Smacktalks Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 WWE Games posted the above image yesterday on Facebook regarding something that's coming on February 21st, what is it? Well that's the question everyone is asking but so far there's no details other than the image itself. The only game we know that had been planned was WWE Brawl, although that seems to have been forgotten and the artwork on the image is completley different to the style seen in the video that surfaced online last year. It has been widely speculated online that it looks similar to the style used in the arcade classic "WWF WrestleFest" which was released back in 1991. The inclusion of Randy Savage on the image however has caused some people to point out that Savage was not featured in WrestleFest. The red button on the image could also be a clue, resembling a button from an arcade machine and possibly hinting at an Arcade release over Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. I guess we'll have to wait until the 21st to find out for sure, what do you think it could be? Source: Smacktalks.org Quote
eliteX Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 An arcade game like Wrestlefest would be a nice change, i'm looking forward to see what they announce. Quote
ALL STAR Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Hmm could be a HD remake which would be cool and at the very least it is something different. Quote
jitz Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Completely irrelevant, but it is also the day The Rock DLC becomes available to everyone. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the WWE All Stars 2 announcement (hence a pic of a cartoony Randy Savage). They save E3 for their main WWE title (WWE '13 this year) announcements, so they'll want to push the All Stars 2 one out the door before it hits stores mid year. Quote
seanironmaiden Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 hmmm... how co-incidental... http://www.wwe.com/inside/wwefeaturepage/bring-it-back-wwe-wrestlefest Quote
