The game itself is actually part of Mattel's new "Apptivity" gaming technology, which allows for gamers to use Mattel toys to interact with Apple's iPad in a whole new way and is set for release this July.

And this is not a game, it's a marketing application to sell toys. The Hot Wheels one looked semi-playable, the WWE one looked like they textured a ring and put in basic collision detection and called it a day.

They all looked ok apart from the WWE one, but something I don't get who would let their kid mess around with plastic toys on an iPad?

It's obviously aimed at a very young market which is why it's so basic, etc. but there's no way i'd trust a young child to play with a toy against the screen, even if it did have a screen protector.
