My Thoughts On 2011

My year started off amazingly well, I made more money gambling between January-May than I would have in 2 years at my previous job which really put any concerns I had for money in 2011 at rest. Since the new season started I've kinda struggled but still made enough to live off and there's always the money I banked to fall back on if it doesnt improve.

Like I mentioned in the other topic about last year, I started playing football more this year. The cool thing about it was I'd stopped previously as 2 of my mates fell out over a girl the previous year and that caused the group I played with to take sides and stop hanging out, so I just messaged them out of the blue and asked if they fancied a game. Since then we've been playing each week and even started playing in a 6-a-side league.

I had hoped to get my own place this year and I could go for a flat but I've been holding out for a house, unfortunetly I used some of the money I won to pay my brothers deposit on his house which has left me a little short for a house so i'm waiting till I make that back before I go for a place instead of going for a flat and not being content with it. Hopefully 2012 will be the year I finally do it.

As for Smacktalks, this year has seen a huge boost in terms of visitors to the website since I redesigned the news section over the Summer and added the WWE '12 news section. Speaking of WWE '12, we're now recognised as an official press site by THQ which led to us being sent a review copy of the game before it's release which has helped us to grow even more by putting out Achievement Guides on Youtube in time for the game being released. I've also continued the presence on Youtube by putting out a showcase of the best created content twice a week and linking it through to the updated creation website which has seen that section grow bigger than it ever has been. That's enough for my thoughts on Smacktalks, i'll cover it in a seperate topic later as i've some news to announce regarding the future once it's confirmed.

Thoughts, Hopes & Resolutions For 2012

- Release an iPhone App.

- Learn a second language.

- Improve Smacktalks.

- Workout more.

- Drink more water / eat more fruit.

- Get my own place.

- Write and perform a 5 minute standup comedy routine.
