Sunny Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 How important is music in video games to you? To me, music sets the tone and somehow provides extra energy. If the music is lame the game feels lame as well, at least in my humble opinion. So I am pretty happy to know that there will be original awesome music in WWE 12. THQ has just confirmed. Licensed music being added to the video game means that there won’t be the same tired songs that you already hear when watching WWE on TV. Same old WWE entrance songs. Well, there may still be people who get psyched with hearing those theme songs but this is definitely not the case with me. Cory Ledesma of THQ just announced via Twitter that original licensed music has made its way back to menus in WWE 12. “Original tracks this year,” were the exact words that got me excited. Well, I know for sure that I am not the only one. Many of you may be sick and tired of hearing the same theme music whether you are a die-hard WWE fan or not. You can play the volume up to your heart’s content. Except yes, your family or neighbors may want you to move out if you play the game way too loud. Use your headphones, then. So, there will be a lot of great times playing WWE 12. I am now even more looking forward to the game. This is not just a question of who makes it or does not make it to the roster of wrestling champions. It has become about the music. I love the person who came up with the idea to put back licensed music in. Source: GameBandits Quote
