Possible Info From THQ Tester (DDP NOT In?)

this just showed up about 20 minutes ago on gamefaqs.com. I don't know if any of it is true, but heres what it says. It's entertaining if nothing more, although the guy doesnt make any huge bombshell speculation or anything so it could be true.

obviously some won't believe my authenticity. i have a buddy currently doing part time game testing for thq and wwe 12 is one of the games he has worked with on and off the last 4 months. i have posted this on other boards but some one asked me to place it here also. I dont have pics, audio, videos, etc as thq does not allow them, but just like one of the testers last year revealed rvd as a legend and some other details before release he told me I could give details.

** I won't reveal who the mystery superstar is, but the clues he gave me were that it is not HBK, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Yokozuna, Foley, etc that have been named on the internet. It is a wwe superstar that has been in 1 WWF/E game. Going back to Wrestlefest is too far and Smackdown vs Raw 2010 is too close. But he said having this person in the game is "A very good thing."- some will get this others won't.

** WM 14 attire HBK (against Stone Cold) and Bret Hart are DLC. Batista, Jericho, Khali are not in the game.

** The remaining 14 spots are made up of 7 diva's, 2 hall of famers, 3 current superstars and 2 NPC that will be playable (wrestling attire Cole and Jim Ross from Extreme Rules). (Hint: Khali is not in, but Mahal is one of the DLC). Chris Masters, DH Smith, Melina, Gail Kim were all slated to be DLC but have been scrapped. This made the overall roster smaller than expected. JTG, Trent Barretta, Curt Hawkins, and Tyler Reks are all NOT in this year.

**Macho Man, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar are all NOT in the game! The Lesnar game model a THQ staffer said was made for WWE 12 was actually made for UFC Undisputed 3.

** Kharma has turned up in testing, but they have been told her character "most likely won't make it to the final product as WWE has requested her be scratched.

** Sin Cara has his lightning in 1 vs 1 matches and it is "very annoying" to him at least.

** All legends have a titan tron video, but only those that have actually had mini trons on TV since they started using them have them in game. All released superstars (kozlov and guerrero) have had their mini trons taken out recently. He is not sure why they did this.

** Demolition on their team entrance had clipping problems where the models face would come through the mask. They have worked on this and corrected it.

They arent stupid enough to package all the diva's by themselves.

it isn't DDP. Sorry I could see how I leaned it that way but when you see who it is that statement will make sense. DDP has not shown up in any testing he has done.

He has said the DLC, they have rumored, will be put in 3 packs like 2011. each pack contains a few diva's, the first two contain a legend, and each has 1 current superstar and cole or ross, and the 3rd has some divas and some alternate attires. his guess is they did this so to get the guys you WANT you have to get the diva's also. They arent stupid enough to package all the diva's by themselves.

ddp isnt mystery and uso's are not in the game at all. not even as DLC.

in response to the PM I got: HBK's wake up taunt, which will be downloaded with him and not in the game out of the box, is "warming up the band"

give some more hints on the mystery superstar....now this is really bugging me....JBL was in more than 1 game right?

and if usos aren't in the game at all...then that leaves brodus and primo

the guys latest post:

the mystery superstar hasnt appeared on wwe tv for a long time nor has he been in any stoyrlines. he has done some video work for them as well as interviews on various projects though. thats why it is such a "mystery" to have him this year.

i understand your doubt. problem is like last year with the guy who posted rvd pics before they announced him only a handful of testers have worked with the model for the "mystery superstar." to release who it is narrows down who leaked the info. I was asked not to give it away flat out so I don't. If you take that as me being a liar thats your right and I have no problems with that.

I did double check with him on johnny curtis though. no he is 100% not in. they just started working with the dlc as far as testing them so he is not in the dlc and wasnt in the default characters. he said some of the unlockable arenas in the game have been asked for for years by fans and hinted at the fist smackdown arena and a classic raw one as well. he believes one of the arenas is dlc as well, although they may just be testing it late also.

new hint kind of narrows it down for us. the havok guy wrote "heres the rest of what I can say:

** it isnt some one really HUGE! it is some one you will say oh thats cool he is in, but it isnt some major star, some "god to the business" type of character.

** if it is or isnt ddp i wont say because like I said all he asked is I not give it away, but the person thats the mystery superstar was in "showdown: legends of wrestling."

** for some reason, this may help with the clue, when they test the character and he has his entrance he has a different version of his theme music then he did in the wwf/e. I know they do this from time to time with guys in the game but it may help.

my money is on either ddp or psycho sid. I know for a fact, thanks to dvd releases, the music Sid had during his wwf run is no longer licensed to wwe therefore on some dvd's they replace it with generic theme music.
