Sunny Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011

THQ has been tight lipped about who will be the remaining 14 Superstars in WWE '12. THQ has confirmed a few people who will definitely won't be in WWE '12, while others have been a lot less obvious.

Here's my prediction of who could be the remaining 14 wrestlers in WWE '12.

Michael Cole

As reported before, a leaked image of Michael Cole was released on the internet. It shows the commentator in the same wrestling attire he wore when he wrestled Jerry "The King" Lawler at Wrestlemania XXVII.

Michael Cole even announced himself he was a part of the game when he was commentating on Smackdown. This is more than enough evidence to know that Michael Cole is in WWE '12.

Trish Stratus

Much like Michael Cole, a leaked image of Trish Stratus semi-confirmed she will appear in the game too.

Here's the image below

It was also revealed earlier that more Divas will be included in the game. Which is good news since it was disappointing to know there were only 7 Divas announced previously.

Trish Stratus should be in the game since she appeared recently on WWE Tough Enough and has always kept in contact with the WWE since she retired from full time action back in 2006.

Bret Hart

What's a WWE video game without the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be? There's a strong chance Bret Hart will be in WWE '12. Not only has he appeared on WWE television recently, but he was added as a pre-order incentive for last year's game. It wouldn't make much sense if THQ left him out of WWE '12.

Bret Hart was also alongside Triple H and Rey Mysterio at Comic Con to help promote the the game itself. If this is 1997, of course Bret Hart wouldn't be in a WWE video game. But ever since he made his return in 2010, it wouldn't make sense having a game without him.

Shawn Michaels

THQ's Community Manager, THQ Tank, tweeted the following:

"Roster hint of the week, there are 3 significant names amongst the 14, at least 2 of those are Legends."

If Bret Hart is one of the legends, then Shawn Michaels must be the other legend. Shawn Michaels was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year and is still one of the most popular WWE Superstars of all time. Much like with Bret Hart, it wouldn't make much sense if THQ decided not to include him in WWE '12. He was named as WWE's Greatest Superstar recently and his Clique buddies, Triple H and Kevin Nash are confirmed for WWE '12 as well.

The four aforementioned names are likely to appear in WWE '12 considering the amount of evidence that has been gathered. Also with the likes of Trish Stratus, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, all three of them are highly popular with the fans so I'm sure gamers will be happy they will be in WWE '12 as DLC.

The remaining 10 wrestlers is a little harder to predict. The following 10 names we've highlighted is a mix of rumors and wishful thinking too. Please comment if you have your own ideas for the remaining roster.

Mick Foley

Ever since Mick Foley left TNA Wrestling back in early June this year, it was inevitable that he was planning to return to the WWE. Mick Foley even wanted to return to the WWE during The Rock's birthday in May when he was still contracted with TNA!

Mick Foley then commented on twitter that you may have a chance to beat him up in WWE '12. That is to say, he will be playable character in WWE '12. With The Rock already confirmed for WWE '12, I'm sure the fans will love reuniting the "Rock-N-Sock Connection" once again.

Brock Lesnar

I'm going to go and say that Brock Lesnar is the mystery superstar in WWE '12. This means he's not part of the DLC roster, but on the actual roster itself. Rumors of his involvement started when a THQ employee stated they have already designed Brcok Lesnar's character model for WWE '12.

Both WWE '12 and the upcoming UFC Undisputed 3 are both being published by THQ. With WWE 12 releasing in November and UFC Undisputed 3 releasing in January, this could be a good way to help promote both games adding Brock Lesnar to WWE '12. Maybe a WWE Superstar will be in UFC Undisputed 3?

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was featured as DLC for WWE All Stars earlier this year. In many ways, I'm hoping Chris Jericho is featured as DLC for WWE '12 too. Chris Jericho himself hasn't commented on any involvement with the game, but he has hinted he wants to return to the WWE soon and feud with the white-hot CM Punk. Besides, WWE '12 wouldn't be so fun without the guy who is "the best in the world at what he does"

X-Pac

X-Pac joined with fellow Clique members, Triple H and Kevin Nash earlier this year to see Shawn Michaels get inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame. X-Pac hasn't featured in a WWE video game in many years so it will be cool if THQ can add him in the game.

Macho Man Randy Savage

Randy Savage made his triumphant return to a WWE video game in WWE All Stars. He was without a doubt one of the best additions to that roster. Sadly, the legend died earlier this year. There has been talks he will inducted to the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame next year. What better way to honor the great man than to add him on the WWE '12 roster too. I'm sure many fans will love to see him in the game.

Ultimate Warrior

Ever since THQ started making WWE video games, the Ultimate Warrior has only featured in Legends of Wrestlemania and WWE All Stars. He has never appeared on the main "Smackdown" franchise itself. It will be great to see him in WWE '12. The controls are similar to that of WWE All Stars, so his move set should fit well in the game.

Kharma

Kharma made her devastating debut to the WWE a short time after Wrestlemania XXVII. With her introduction to the WWE's Divas division, many thought she would have made the Divas division exciting again. Sadly , nature called and she had to take a year off from the WWE as she got pregnant. Although she won't be back in the WWE until mid-2012, this shouldn't stop her from crushing the competition much earlier in WWE '12.

Lita

If Trish Stratus is in WWE '12, Lita should also be in it too. Much like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock were great rivals, Trish Stratus and Lita had a rivalry like none other when they were both actively wrestling in the WWE. Although they are great friends in real-life, their matches were awesome and unlike the Divas matches you see today. THQ, please try and put Lita in the game.

Mr Perfect

Mr Perfect's son Michael McGillicutty is confirmed to be in WWE '12. What better way than to include his late great father into the game too. Mr Perfect was underrated in my opinion and is considered by many to be one of the best in-ring performers of all time. His addition to the WWE '12 roster will be absolutely perfect.

British Bulldog

Davey Boy Smith would be another great addition to the WWE '12 roster. He may not have been as great as a wrestler as Mr Perfect was, but he's still a significant part of WWE history. Who could forget the excellent match he had with Bret Hart at SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley Stadium? It's still considered by some as the greatest match in SummerSlam history. If Bret Hart is in WWE '12, it will be cool for gamers to be able to recreate this classic match.

What are your predictions for the remaining WWE '12 roster? seanironmaiden Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Nice list. I can't see X-Pac making it into the game but would absolutely love it! he's always the first CAW I make every year. lol. Love Waltman! Quote
Smacktalks Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 X-Pac would be a great choice and he could have all sorts of attires, DX, 1-2-3 Kid, X-Factor, etc. Quote
