Below is the reference picture I used for the facepaint. Quote
ALL STAR Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Damn that is good you totally nailed the face paint how did you do that, paint tool? Quote
Smacktalks Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 Yeah, took awhile to work out where to put different bits of the design so it was around the eyes, etc. when it was stretched but it turned out well. Quote
jitz Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 No one ever spends enough time face morphing their CAWs. I know it's the most boring, awkward, and difficult part of making a CAW, but if you're going to try and copy someone's likeness, the first thing you look at is their face and it's the difference between a great CAW and a shit one. Paul get back into face morphing and make his face shape actually look like Jeff Hardy, because as it is it looks like some generic guy wearing Jeff Hardy face paint. I'll give you a start - the face is too long. Quote
Smacktalks Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 Yeah I changed it around last night, it's a lot harder than previous years. I took off the face paint to work on it and the morphing is kinda ok to use, but unless your making a character with stand out huge features a lot of the small chnages make very little difference. I'll post up some comparison pics in a bit. Quote
Smacktalks Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 I copied the caw to another slot and made some changes to the morphing, here's the side view that i've done first, tho theres a lot of restrictions. The only change I can make is use a bigger beard for stubble and use the custom paint tool for the proper beard, what I cant do due to the lack of options in CAW mode is: - Move the mouth further out. - Increase the size of the forehead. - Make the eyes bigger, as they are already huge on the front view. - Add any shading to the face as theres no makeup/transparency. - Increase the length of the jaw as only the chin bulks up. Overall the lack of options has put me off creating caws, as even when you do get the face looking similar to what it should be once you add the face paint with no transparency it just goes back to looking like a default face. xIFearlessIxx Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 That looks amazing. I get the game soon, when I do I want to practice, I haven't played them games in awhile. I'll be signing up for the SVR League. Quote
Smacktalks Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 Cheers. If you look at the picture above you can see that i've used one of the face paint designs to try and remove some of the shading on the forehead but that was the closest I could get it to blend in. Quote

ALL STAR Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Something about the body morph looks a little off though it might just be the entrance animation, could you post pics of a match between him and Matt Hardy? are you doing any of his TNA attires as well? Quote
