jitz Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 The shift from quick and strong grapples, to two part grapples essentially breaks the game. So incase you didn't know, you can't just flick the right analogue stick and perform a quick grapple, now each direction locks into a hold, and from their you can do another direction to pick a move or change your position. So that gives you two chances to reverse a grapple before you execute the move. The only time when a move can be directly performed is when the opponent is in a groggy state, giving you a choice of four strong grapples, but locking out access to putting your opponent into a hold. So you will be seeing repeat moves against groggy opponents a lot, the AI on the highest difficulty (already notoriously known for reversing everything) now has twice the opportunities to reverse your shit (let a lone a smart human opponent who knows how to play), and finishers not needing a groggy opponent further gimps aerial finishers (like they weren't already gimped enough) because now standing finishers can be executed out of nowhere. It's shit. Quote
