Smacktalks Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Where did you get the pac files? If you downloaded them are they definitley from the ps2 version? Quote
mill1rbt2 Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 yeah smacktalks there from a ps2 version i've tried svr 2007,2008,and 2010 and i'm sure they are ps2 PAC files Quote
Smacktalks Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I looked into it for you and it says that it doesnt work with large PAC files, ie. all of the ch*.pac files. Have you tried opening the smaller files to see if they work? Quote
mill1rbt2 Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 if you mean the smaller files that are in the big CH.PAC,CH2.PAC and CH3.PAC then not yet I forgot how to extract them from inside the big CH.PAC files can you help? Quote
Smacktalks Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Aside from the ch*.pac files in the folder, what other .pac files are there? Quote
mill1rbt2 Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 there are a ton of folders the CH.PAC CH2.PAC and CH3.PAC big PAC files are inside a folder called CH,which is in a folder called PAC,this PAC folder is where all the PAC files for the game are stored like folders called "ED0" all the way up to "ED6" then theres MOVIE.PAC GAME2D.PAC and others do you know how to extract the files from the big .PAC files I think inside the big .PAC files are the smaller ch.pac files and the folders named like 000a 000b 0008 0009 and inside those folders are the the textures or pictures. MasterOfTheSwanton Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 You should be able to use rrunpack to open the big ones and then X-Packer for the smaller ones. Quote
mill1rbt2 Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 thanks for trying to help masterswanton i'm using x-packer 5.0 right now and a couple days ago figured out how to open the big pack files so I could open the smaller ones with x-packer. Quote
