Multi-tasking.

cant see it being anything special, seeing as it seems to be limited to some app's only. I've never needed to multi task on my iphone, since i use it for calls and music, and theres no need to do both of them at once

still, give me changable backgrounds and ill be happy.

I've never understood why people are so keen on getting multi-tasking, what two apps do you want to run at the same time so badly?

It'll be handy for the iPad, but off the top of my head i cant think of much i'd multi-task other than maybe pausing a video to check something on the net.

In app SMS will be handy, I think that links in with the multitasking functionality.

Still though, there's nothing there that I'm rushing to kill my jailbreak for. As a free update though, Apple has been doing a good job with these. Sucks if you don't have a 3GS though.

Yeah, I just heard it wont work on the 1st iPhone, seems like a dick move for older customers who got the first version but I guess it'll stop them recieving a load of negative reviews, etc. for the performance on them.

I'm sorry, but if an iPad is trying to break the pc/laptop market it, then it's going to need to have multi-tasking. The reason allof you are like oh, why does it matter? Is because no apps have been designed for multi-tasking and clearly think you know all of it.

Biggest wanted thing in iphone/ipad, i wonder why guys.

There's been plenty of times I've been playing a game on my iPhone, and have received a push notification of a new facebook message or comment, and you have to quit the game. Not anymore with multitasking.

Thinking about it the option to leave the radio player on then read a text instead of closing the radio app would be good.
