Anyone Get/Getting an iPad?

Seeing as it's just been released in the US has anyone been out and got one?

I'm thinking about going for the 3G version when it's released but was wondering what people that have actually used an iPad find it like?

I know a lot of people will question why buy one if you have an iPhone or laptop already, but for me i'm just looking to use it for browsing the net without the need to carry around a full laptop, etc. when i'm out.

I browse the internet on my iPhone when I'm out and absolutely MUST view the internet. Lets face it, you're not going to be sitting at dinner and whip out your iPad to post on Smacktalks. It's priced at 3/4 of a decent laptop, but has less than half of the functionality. Plus if you have an iPhone (especially the 3GS model) you have absolutely zero need for one because you have an iPad but much smaller, much lighter, and it makes phone calls too.

No, I won't be getting one.

Seeing as how I just got an iphone it's pretty safe to say that I will not be getting one.

I'm planning on using it at footy games for gambling tho, which is harder on an iPhone due to the small screen.

The other reason was to use it as an ebook reader, as I cant sit and read from a computer screen (In terms of a full book), same goes for a laptop, so the iPad would be handy and would do a lot more than an actual ebook reader.

I don't see the point in it. It's overpriced, no flash, USB, or camera, you'd look like a tool with it in public, and it just looks like they crazy glued 4 iPhones together and removed the good stuff.
