I really dont rate Defoe as an England striker, he does well coming off the bench later on but I've never seen him have a good game when he's started. The changes at half time made a huge difference, I thought Carrick played a load of good balls that seemed to be missing from Lampard's play and obviously Crouch and Wright-Phillips worked well together to create the goals. For once I dont see the paper's coming out and saying England will now win the World Cup, instead it'll carry on with the fact that John Terry got booed so badly. Quote
Aero Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 i didnt watch it, it was a friendly! these 1 off friendlies are pretty pointless, cut them out, get the premiership finished a week or 2 earlier and have a few before the world cup etc and teams will gel better. Quote
