Sure, it got even more acclaim because of Heath Ledger's death, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a brilliant movie. It was the grittiest Batman movie to date and proper action movie at that. Sure, it would have been alot better without a bloke in a rubber suit, but everything about The Dark Knight was miles ahead of Iron Man. Iron Man was just another sloppy hollywood movie with alot of CGI. It's a shame that the majority of hollywood movie are now focused on how much they can push CGI.
