The Smackethdown Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 (edited) so as of this week,ive been getting tired of the songs of my ipod,so I checked out various online radio services like pandora,last.fm,etc. and they play the exact shit that's on my ipod.so im asking for any type of recommendation of any songs/artists/albums I should check out,no matter what genre they are...except for country & death metal.thanks in advance. P.S. i've been starting to get into techno,so if anybody has any good techno shit,that'll be a plus. EDIT: yes i realized i could've put this in the Media Discussion. jitz Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 You have an iPod, so I assume you have iTunes. Turn on Genius. Then in your library, for every song you play, in the sidebar on the right they will list ten or so songs that are similar to that song. Im certain you will find something new. It's quicker than Pandora and last.fm, because you can just play the standard 30 second iTunes store preview clip straight from that sidebar. Even in the iTunes store tab, at the top right you can go to Genius Recommendations, fromt here using a thumbs up/thumbs down system, you can pin point your search down even further. Quote
