How to: Get Paint Tool Save Data?

How would I go about getting my save data off my HDD using a USB Adapter, and how would I extract the paint tool file?

What softwares would I need etc.?

I'm sure there are many different ways to do it, but in my case, I actually purchased an Xsata online. It's pretty simple to install and comes with Xplorer 360 software that helps you browse the HDD and should let you pull any files that you would need from it. Hope that helps.

So its all done via the Xplorer360 software? Ah, not as complicated as I thought. I imagined you'd have to extract it from an overall SVR save data

No, there is actually a separate *.pt file, I think that is the one you will need.
