Smacktalks Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Geez, how bad were we to get beaten 3-0 by Fulham! Then you've got Liverpool beaten 2-0 by Portsmouth and a top class game where I just watched Man City beat Sunderland 4-3. I'm badly hoping Chelsea get beat of West Ham tomorrow, but I can't see it happening. Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Thanks for your confidence in us Paul (I have less). Mark Hughes has just been sacked by Man City and replaced my Roberto Mancini. Even worse, Mancini was at the game watching in the stands. Sickening. Quote
Smacktalks Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 Nah, that turned out to be false. SSN say he's just boarded a plane in Italy to fly in for a news conference on Monday. It's pretty shocking the way they handled it, it was only the other month he was suposed to have been told his job was safe and that City was a long-term project. I guess long-term isn't quite that long anymore. As for West Ham, I think you'll give them a hard game, I just think Chelsea will throw everything at you to try and capitalise on us and Liverpool losing. Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Good about the Mancini bit. I'm a little more optimistic, but not that much. We have what is almost looking like a fully fit squad. Quote
Aero Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 ex liverpool player the murphster danny murcphy scores against united AGAIN.. that must be 5 or 6 times by now! thats the only good thing i can take from this weekend so far Quote
Smacktalks Posted December 20, 2009 Author Posted December 20, 2009 You can add a Chelsea draw to that! I was hoping West Ham would hold out as they defended really well, whereas the penalty should never have been given in the first place, nevermind taken 3 times. Quote
