Disney's A Christmas Carol

Anyone checked out the trailer for Disney's A Christmas Carol?

I've never been a fan of CGI movies with human characters, but seeing as Jim Carrey's voicing Scrooge i'm kinda looking forward to seeing it.

I much would have prefered to Jim Carrey play the role with CGI though.

What'd you think of the trailer?

It's not entirely animated though, its motion capture...which means Carrey acted out the motions and then they created a digital character around his actions...so technically he is playing out the role !

and yes it does look good.

I nearly went to go see it last night in 3D, but then I remembered how I hate all Christmas movies. So I saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus instead.

So yeah, I was interested, but it wasn't te CG that put me off.

cold be good, currently watching a few xmas movies a week with a bunch of friends, have loads... would love a few extra suggestions tho..

as far as the christmas carol story itself goes i have a few -

theres an old classic scrooge from like the late 60s, the 99 hallmark 1 with patrick stewart, a muppet xmas carol and scrooged.

I always prefered The Muppet Christmas Carol, even though I hate the Muppets...
