For those that have the game already, what's the best thing about it so far?

Superstar Threads. CAW mode is a bitch to get used to so far.

And Royal Rumble is pretty cool also.

body damage. seeing welps develop on your opponents chest after a couple chops is very nice. also the physics for the ropes...now, if you knock someone down and they hit the ropes, the ropes jiggle realistically instead of acting like nothing happened. and the superstar threads.even as limited as it is, it still opens up the opportunities for some cool gear...

Superstar threads is a great feature played around with it a bit, the story creator is pretty good to though i havnt checked it all out but it holds a lot of possibilties. The blood this year is the best its been having it rub off on your knuckles or dripping on your chest when you punch the guy is a nice touch.

The options in the way the game plays have been taken to another level. Return on manual targeting is great. The charge of momentum is now much slower on slow, and can even be slowed again using sliders.

Then the overall play has been improved, and plays the best the series ever has. Being a heel like Edge and finding yourself in trouble near the ropes isn't an issue, you can just duck out of the ring with the press of two buttons. The way the bottom rope works with wrestlers is excellent. The grappples are refined, with a lot more options for changing your stance, and getting rid of the ultimate grapple which never really worked as well as it should have.

With a combination of option tweaking, and the gameplay being improved, I've had many realistic back and forth matches that hold my interest till the end. Oh and fatal fourways are excellent now, the CPU is much smarter and actually goes for pinfalls when you're busy or not around, you can easily lose them if you're not paying attention.

EDIT - I've thought of more. The CAW levelling system is perfect, and the system that should have been put in from the start. Every match counts, and you have a lot of choice based on what you did during the matches.

The XBox Live features are also long overdue, and extend the lifespan of the game greatly. It's really just the best entry in the series since Shut Your Mouth.

I just got the game today , havent really played it cause my brother got COD5 and hes playing that.

It's hardly the best thing in the game, but i'm liking that your opponents chest goes red after you give him a few chops. Really nice touch imo.
