He knows Arsenal fans are all yellow bellies.

The first tackle, Van Persie went in 2 footed, therefore he should have been sent off.

thants an awesome point martin, 1 that will probably get looked over by a lot of ppl, but it was definately a bad, 2 footed challange my van persie 1st

Sure, there's no denying it was a completely shit tackle attempt by van persie. The simple fact though is the shit tackle didn't connect with adebayor at all and there's absolutely no excuse for stamping on someones face like that.

RVP should have been sent off and adebayor should also of been sent off but with a hefty match ban period.

Angry ? Simply discussing !

You're clearly not very clever. ;)

You're clearly not very clever.

Because Adebayor kicked him in the head!!!!!

The kick was obvious, very Orton like.

I heard he'll likely get a 3 game ban, not sure if it's for the kick or the celebration though.

ian wright had a good point to make so some degree in the paper about the celebration in that the fans can shout what they want at the players but they can't take adebayor's celebration with a grain of salt.

to some point i agree, but rather than suggest they do nothing about his celebration, i suggest more measures on fans, i dunno what like, but fans this season (for london teems mostly eh martin?? lol) are already being bigger ball bags than in the last few seasons combined and we're only 5 games in. i just get a bad feeling that the fans will fuck up the beauty of the premiership soon

I think they should just take the lead we did against Millwall. ;)

Fans do shout shit at players and shouldn't give it if they can't take....but we pay 50 quid a ticket whereas Adebayor is paid 150k a week...that alone should make him turn a deaf ear, he is suppose to be a professional. Running down the pitch which caused a surge forward that had a 5 year old and a steward taken to hospital is beyond ridiculous behaviour.

yeah, i expect footballers to turn away to most of the abuse they get, but i dont think his celebration was that bad, its just been paired with "that stamp" and as such made things worse, its not like he spits at them (diouf) or kicks them in the face (cantona) for example! he said nothing, he just ran the pitch and slid at them after the abuse he got. should he have? no! but he did, and the fans shouldnt have reacted as badly as they did
