Question about abilities for Career Mode

I've been playing the game for PS2 for a while, then put it away. Later, I traded everything in for an Xbox 360. Later on, I got SvR2009 for Xbox 360. I have been playing the Career Mode quite a bit & cannot remember how you unlock the various abilities. It used to be posted on this site.

Does anyone have a link to how to unlock abilities?
