Well any small doubts I had over Fergie signing Owen are now gone, he scored again today to make it 2 goals in 1 1/2 games and he just looked eager to play and show he's still a top quality goalscorer.

Apart from actually scoring goals, he's looked a lot happier and been trying the odd trick and flick which I never seen him do at Newcastle. His spell at Newcastle mainly seen balls played through to him and then had him pushed off the ball or out paced.

he's clearly needed a break and playing for newcastle gave that to him! like i said in my last post about him, part of me whats to see him do well.

with that said, lets wait til he hits the prem/champions league before you start praising him, but yeah, the determination seems to be back which is good.
