You bring up an interesting point, all of the recent deaths covered by the media are predominately American based celebrities. With this latest celebrity only appearing on commercials in the United States it leads me to believe that the person behind these killings is likely also based in the United States.

If you also take into account that TMZ were able to brake the news that Michael Jackson had died before any other media sources were able to confirm it, then I also believe that there is a 60% percent chance that the person behind these deaths works in some form for TMZ.com.

It would seem that the question on everybody's lips is "Who is L?", needless to say if there is another Kira out there then revealing my true name would be rather foolish.

My assumption that these deaths were the result of another Kira have not gone unnoticed, for the Internet is rife with postings from around the world questioning whether this could be the work of Kira.

As interesting as it may be to put the idea of a copycat Kira out there, the term copycat is rather misleading.

If we understand Light Yagami to be the original Kira (Let's call him oKira), then oKira's ultimate goal was to create a new world devoid of evil. On the other hand, this new Kira (We'll call him iKira) seems to have used his power to make an impact, a statement that has been felt around the world.

As we have seen in the past, oKira only used his power against individuals who had been found guilty, or in cases whereby the evidence proved that person to be guilty without doubt.

With this in mind, should you contemplate that iKira judged Michael Jackson to be a criminal based on past accusations, ignoring that Jackson was cleared of all charges by a Jury, it would not be out of the question to suspect that iKira's own judgement was the final say in the matter and that he found Jackson guilty. This goes against the actions of oKira.

Although I suspect that iKira is a US Citizen, the Internet could play an integral part for this new Kira. In an age where information is readily available and can be accessed from anywhere around the world, theoretically iKira could be performing these actions from anywhere in the world.

As much as iKira could be based anywhere in the world, I still firmly believe iKira to be within the United States. Not only does the evidence I noted earlier support this, but oKira focused his work in his nearby community and although these celebrity deaths were spread across the United States, I believe iKira to have done the same. It is my belief that iKira was in Los Angeles to witness the aftermath of his work the day Jackson died, to revel in the situation and experience the chaos he caused first hand. I believe the other deaths were nothing more than a diversion.
