Smacktalks Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 This video is out of sync, but you can watch it in sync here. John Morrison was interview with VideoGamer.com (See Above) on the new WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2010 game and dropped some spoilers on this years roster. Morrison said that he last did motion capture for SvR 2007 and said that only some stars are sent out to do motion capture. Morrison then accidently confirmed Cryme Tyme and R-Truth for this years game by saying that they were sent out to do motion capture for their entrances. Morrison also spoke on this years game being focused on customising all the little details and gave example of changing his sunglasses, fur coat, etc. With the examples he gave you could take a guess that you'll be able to edit a superstars entrance attire, however from the way THQ have been talking up the focus on customisability, then you can probably expect a full on Edit-A-Wrestler mode so you can change current superstars hairstyles, wrestling attire, etc. Although this has not yet been announced, so until there is official confirmation we'll just have to keep wishing. Aero Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 they had this in a WcW game, 4 attires per wrestler, i think you could edit 3 of them.. to me, that has always been 1 of the best approaches, especially for the likes of macho man randy savage who was in the game, they had his NWO attire i think, then 3 others, so you could edit them to make them look like any savage attire you could be creative enough to make. the big problem with making a caw of a current superstar who's already in the game from scratch was that he was always gonna look substandard, this way he wont, you'll have a perfect character model to improve/fuck up... lots of potential yeah, i hope this feature is in it lol Quote
Smacktalks Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 Yeah, the WWF games on the N64 all had the option to change your superstars appearance, yet THQ never bothered putting it in any of the Smackdown games. Quote
