Not good for a betting man. As for who'll get it, I'd like to see the BBC come in with a bid, but I'd heard ESPN have most likely hood of getting it. Is ESPN a free channel or do you have to subscribe to it? Quote

I doubt Setanta will be around much longer, most of their customers that have subscribed to them individually instead of via Virgin, etc. are only subscribed because of the Premier League games, so thye've ended up cancelling due to it. That said, I cancelled by account about 2 years ago now when I switched form Sky to Virgin and it was annoying as hell. If you pressed 1 fo a new account you got an instant answer, if you pressed 2 to cancel an account you got stuck in a queue for ages. ANyway, it's their own downfall, they spent stupidly trying to get as much football as possible in their early days instead of waiting to build a solid base first. Add in the dedicated Golf channel and your throwing money away. Quote
