What a load of shit this one is.

They're talking about cancelling professional rugby league footy games over here because one of the players in one of the teams in the comp has the pork sniffles.

Go stick it up ya ass.

Whoever thought up the slang 'pork sniffles' needs to go back to the drawing board.

If you don't think it's that big a deal, why did you need to make a topic about it on a wrestling video game message board? You're now apart of the hysteria.

You're missing out bro, it's the best sport in the world. But nevertheless;

I'm just annoyed and having a rant because its such a load of shit Jitz.

From what I've gathered, the swine flu is just pretty much like the normal flu, except it's a new strain. The new strain means that people don't have the anti-bodies in them yet, so for this flu season more people than usual might catch it.

I don't know about anywhere else in Australia or even the world, but up in Brissy they're closing down all these schools and pre-schools, cancelling footy games, scanning everyone at the airports with thermal scanners and putting people into quarantine for no apparent reason.

It pisses me off that just like everything else in the world these days, people seem to be over-reacting to everything. Whether it be swine flu. political correctness. whatever.

Everyone needs to harden the fuck up.

surely you can catch a mild swine flu which is fine, but theres a more serious 1 too which has killed a few ppl?

i dunno, so far theres been little happenings of it round here so it all seems like smoke and mirror stories to cover something else up

I've never seen or played a game of rugby in my life.

yeah we've had minor cases of swine flu here, but nothing serious.

Indeed it is.

I could be wrong but I believe the reason everyone's so careful about is that a big portion of the people that have died from it were in their 20-30's with healthy immune systems. I'm not sure if that's actually true I just remember hearing it somewhere but that would give reason to what they're doing.

Yeah exactly, like compared to how many people die each year of the normal flu its pretty clear the whole thing was just a storm in a teacup.
