Thom Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I doubt they're gonna do free upgrades for existing customers, as they're keeping the 8gb in circulation as the "$99 iPhone". I really hope they do decide tot do it though, as the thought of actually having an iPhone to use in 10 days is pretty enticing. Quote

Aero Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 anyways, so , the new iphone isnt that much better.... bit faster (wont be as fast as they say) better battery (extra half hour in real terms if ur lucky) 3mp camera (thats still a bit cack if they are bragging about the video if you ask me, 5 would have been better) if i had the current iphone, i dont think i'd be in too big of a rush to extend my contract another 2 years etc, just wait til next year when the next 1 is out and i can get it as a normal upgrade it will no doubt be - a bit faster better battery slightly better camera sameish size/weight slightly better screen blah blah blah. im not dissing the thing, i mean the only real draw back of the current 1 is the camera isnt fantastic, i dont expect top of the range, but i feel its still a wee bit substandard if you fancy the occasional drunken photo etc. as such they dont have to improve much each year, but all this fuss over mild improvements is a bit sad lads.
