Final Day: Premiership

Well, this isn't exactly the final day I was hoping for. There wasn't really any change arounds in the religation candidates after Villa went 1-0 up.

It was however painful watching Newcastle go down, for a club their size they should be at least mid table, yet a year of disaster after disaster left all the Newcastle fans around me starring into the reality that is Championship football next season.

As for Man United, I was stil semi-confident that we could pickup a win over Hull and what a goal from Gibson! Absolute class! :D Apart from that, the game didn't mean too much seeing as all the celebrations for winning the league came last week and Newcastle were unable to capitalise on the Hull defeat.

So, how did your teams season go?

We have improved so much from last year, but I'm a little disappointed not to get Europe.

I'm glad Fulham got it over Tottenham though. Roy Hodgson is manager of the season.

Your definitley on the up, some of the football i've watched West Ham play this season has been great. Zola's really made a difference.

Are West Ham not in the Intertoto this year to try and get into the Europa League? or does that no longer exist because of the change of the Uefa Cup?

after all our sitting back, drawing matches when all we had to do was attack, effectively losing us the league, i'm pretty pleased with liverpool this year. if we can bring the mentality we finished the season with to the start of next season and dont let it drop we'll be damn near unbeatable. a few signings even if its just to get us better subs, united wont be celebrating the league next year!

on a side note, i was damn near close to shedding a tear at sami hyypia lmao how gay is that?

What about Hyypia? Was it his final game?

I think you'll be better next year, but you definitley need to bring in some more players for your bench.

aye, he had 3 options, retire, take a 1 year extention, or go else where. he was offered 2 years at Bayern Leverkusen so he chose that.

rafa has, in all 3 cases offered him a coaching job when he is ready, so we shall probably see him in 2 years again. he has apparently been doing wonders with a young defender, improved agger and always just had a knack for passing on "tricks of the trade" for years which is why rafa WANTS him as a coach, rather than just offering it due to what he's done for us on the pitch

I really don't know actually. I don't think we've applied for it, and you are right, it may not exist now with that new Europe League format.
