Would you like to live forever?

5 Live had a discussion on after the United game last night with the focus of whether you would want to live forever or not. For me, i've always wanted to, but in a Doctor Who/Richard Alpert way in which you stop aging.

So the full question, would you like to live forever if you were to keep aging?

I think I would want to, but in the hope that if I knew I couldn't die that in time there would be a way to reverse aging or become a bionic man with artifcial sight, etc.

If I was to live for 100's of years in the physique of a 100+ year old I dont think I would want to.

if you kept aging, i'd rather die, have you seen old people? who the fuck wants to be 1 of them only much older. fuck, by the time ur 200 you'd probably be a vegetable even if you where fit and healthy ur whole life

to me the purpose of living for ever is watching the world evolve, i fucking hated history at school, wouldnt want to have to read up on all these shitty iraq wars etc again.. or watch "retro movies" such as iron man 3 on a shitty dvd on a well out of date LCD screen

i'd happily live forever if indeed i did stay young/regenerate, but if you aged like paul suggests, you'd be an invalid and ppl would have to look after you at some stage... forever. you'd be nothing short of a pointless waste of resources.
